“Wonderful stay!”
Reviewed 21 October 2008

We had a wonderful stay for two nights at the Adornes Hotel. The location is an easy walk to anything in Bruges. Just to be able to open our window and have an amazing view was a treat, but the staff went out of their way to help us with maps, find places to eat, and general suggestions. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It is a short walk from the hotel to the underground parking garage. We also took a couple of bicycles out for a ride (free for guests) and pedeled to a nearby town following a canal which was wonderful.

We had an excellent one night stay here. Good location and a comfortable room were very welcome but what makes this hotel so special is the very friendly and efficient staff. We will certainly use this hotel again when we visit Brugge.

We stayed here for one night at the end of September and had a beautiful big family room with the most gorgeous beams on the ceiling for our family of four. Lovely view of the canal and had free parking, internet and the breakfast was great. Would stay again without hesitation!

We loved this hotel. We were here for 4 nights in late September 2008. The rooms were large enough and very comfortable. A big plus for us were the availability of bicycles with a very easy-to-use locking mechanism. We rode all over town and it was somewhat easier on the feet because of the cobblestone roads everywhere. We also enjoyed playing a bit of soccer with Arthur (pictured here) every time we went to get the bicycles. He seemed to enjoy batting the ball with his paws. Very talented! Breakfast was fantastic. The availability of a computer was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

It's usually the service, not the room, that makes or breaks a hotel. That's very much the case with the Adornes. While not large, The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and everything worked.

The star of the hotel, however, is the staff and management. They bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable! Free parking (for those of us silly enough to bring a car into Bruges), free Internet, free breakfast, free use of the bikes (there must have been 50 of them in the courtyard, so there's never a shortage). Need a plug adapter? The staff will bring one right up. Need to checkout and have them watch your luggage? No problem!

The location is hard to beat. You're a five-minute bike ride to the central square, and you're right on one of the canals. For the price, it's hard to beat.

The hotel gets high ratings here, so expect to stay with many other well-traveled Americans. You'll hear a lot of English spoken here, and that's just fine.

Great location on a quite street, next to one of the canals. A short walk from the city center and a bus ride from the train station. Average size room. Good breakfest. The free bike rental was very nice. The best way to see Bruges is by bike. The windmills are only a few blocks away.
