We stayed here based on a recommendation from a family member. I was a little dubious - but my doubts were soon put to rest.

The hotel is small - only about 9 rooms. Ours was on the top floor - and I strongly suggest using the elevator as the stairs are quite steep. But the views from the top are very good, and the attic room feeling is quite cosy.

The bathroom was small and showed signs of hasty (and not very good) repairs. But everything worked - so no complaints.

Breakfasts are help yourself, good, and plentiful. The location is very close to the historic centre of Bruges - literally a 3 minute walk if you go slowly. And it's nice and quiet at night.

This hotel is not a luxury palace - but nor is it a dive. I recommend it for its reasonable price, good standard, and great location.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with shower, and on the top floor so you can admire the view.

My husband and I visited last week for out wedding anniversary and it was a great surprise. This hotel had everything you could wish for, clean with comfy beds, great price, fantastic location and free wifi! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good too, much more than we could hope for considering the reasonable price. We are returning to Bruges in November hopefully and will definitely be booking this hotel again, thanks for a great stay!

A fine two night stay in room 4. Not the place to go if you are looking for a modern hotel room. Though everything was slightly older, it wasn't lacking in charm. Towels could definitely do with updating. It seemed to be a family-run establishment, and the welcome was very friendly. Breakfast was a serve-yourself buffet, which was adequate. The location was superb, just round the corner from the Vismarkt and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Bruges. I saw one other comment mentioned mosquitoes, and I also had some in my room and ended up bitten, which didn't really add to the experience.

Followed TA recommendations and for the first time, very disappointed with the outcome. The positives - good location, quiet street but very central to Old Bruges. Staff - friendly. Our room and the general feel of the "Hotel" is run down. The proprietors clearly take your money and do not invest in the upkeep e.g. Stained carpets, peeling paint, green mould on the inside window of our room, rank smell of urine in our room, stained bed covers, off-white towels, mould in bathroom - I could go on. Breakfast minimalist in nature and basically you have a run-down B&B masquerading as Hotel. Warning - we would have walked out straight away but found to our initial astonishment the full cost of our two night stay had been taken from our card 7 days previously. In retrospect, they take your money beforehand to give you little option but to stay. Avoid at all costs..,,,,

Deserves its 3* star rating in every way but there is NO small fridge in rooms and the TV channel selection is quite limited. Plus the bed in room 4 (the room I got during my stay from July 30th to August 1st) is not comfortable (spongy and a bit uneven, but I did get enough zzz's). I would recommend this hotel for it being homely and well situated for visiting the enchanted charming little city of Bruges.

Room Tip: Room 4 (2nd floor) is decent if you like the bed.
