We booked a club room for our mini-break and it was very nice indeed. Location is ideal as the hotel is situated a few minutes from the town centre. The room was spacious (as was the bed - the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room!) and nicely decorated.

Service was great too. The chap at reception gave us some great restaurant recommendations as well as his top tips for things to see and do.

We came out of Bruges railway station and walked across the open area in front and crossed the main road to find we were on the edge of the old town part of Bruges. We walked our wheeled cases through the town and found our hotel. A mile at most ? You can walk everywhere in old town Bruges.
This is a nice hotel with pleasant staff. The rooms are spacious and clean with good showers.
The buffett breakfast has a good choice of food to satisfy most, including fruit juice, yoghurts, scrambled eggs, bacon and self boiled eggs.
We found the bar to be especially nice at this hotel. Normally hotel bars do not have any atmosphere but this has a large well designed bar with subtle lighting, plenty of seats, music, good service and reasonable prices. We would have a drink before venturing out and return later for coffee and/or nightcap after dining out. On the Saturday evening there were around 50 people in the bar enjoying themselves.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in February with our 12 year old son. Lovely big room - looked like it had been two rooms made into one. Great location - only a few minutes walk to the market square. Nice modern bar and breakfast room and good varied breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is small but nice to have a dip after a day sightseeing.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the main square in Bruges, and has a private car park at the back. Parking cost an extra €14 per day, but well worth it as street parking is limited to 4 hours and requires a ticket.

We were allocated a room on the ground floor, overlooking an inner courtyard. Consequently it was very quiet. The bedroom was slightly dated in terms of decor and lighting, but the bed was comfortable and the room a good size. The bathroom also was quite big, and had a large shower cubicle. Everything was very clean and plenty of good quality towels.

Breakfast is the normal self service buffet with a nice choice, and was included in the cost which is a definite bonus. For eating out there are numerous restaurants at all price levels within a very close proximity. Free wifi throughout the hotel is also good.

Stayed one night on 19th February 2014, about 10 minutes walk to the Markt and very quiet. Easy to find when driving, we drove from Calais and it was really straightforward to find it the hotel. There is parking around the back of the hotel to fit around 20 cars, well hidden from the road but watch out for potholes!

Breakfast was excellent, served between 8am-11am - we could smell it from the 2nd storey! Overall, recommended for somewhere that's very close to the city, quiet and a comfy bed.

Stayed here for 2 nights over Valentine's Day weekend when the city was full of people, and found the price/value quite reasonable. First off, the hotel is very well located -- about 7-8 minutes walk to the Grote Market in a straight line. There are definitely hotels closer but it's nice to get away from the center and walk a bit. There is a bus stop directly in front which takes you to the train station in 10 minutes. Though we did not use the parking it was available which would be convenient for many people.

The hotel itself is nice, if not overly charming -- so if you are looking for the quaint B&B experience, look elsewhere because this is a standard hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us a city map and answered all our questions. They also gladly store your luggage after check-out if you want to head out to the city before departing. There is a nice bar attached to the reception which has great prices on drinks (especially during happy hour) if this interests you -- though it is not the place to sample the many delicious beers available in Bruges.

We had room 11 which was a Club room with a queen size bed. The room was clean, functional but not overly cozy -- which doesn't bother us. The rain shower and nice bathroom were a bonus except there was NO hot water for both of our mornings there! Maybe just bad luck. Anyway it was dark and comfortable so no complaints -- though people who are really bothered by noise should try not to stay on the ground floor.

The breakfast was quite good and open until 11am. Eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, coffee/tea/juice -- the usual and constantly replenished. No complaints here.

In short, a recommended hotel if you can get a good price -- not overly fancy, not overly cozy, but just right and in a great location.

Room Tip: Room 11 (Club Room) is on the ground floor just past the breakfast area so it gets a bit loud, if th...
