“Beautiful old building that has been lovingly restored.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2012

We stayed 3 nights here along with another couple. They had a standard double room, #1, which is beautiful but is on the street level in the front of the Hotel so they said it was a little loud at times. We had a superior double on the third floor (top) in the back, so it was not noisy but the stairs were difficult. I was aware there were no lifts when I booked the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even booking a tour for us. The only negative is that there are no phones in the rooms and the reception closes not longer after their last guest checks in for the night and we were concerned what to do if we had a medical emergency with no phone available. You are given a door code to get into the Hotel when they close the reception. The have a nice bar area but it was closed on Saturday night, their personal time they said. Overall, the Hotel is beautiful and the people are very nice.

Room Tip: ask for something in the back as the street noise can keep you awake.

Stayed there for 1 night. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to borrow their landline. Location is very good, close to the central part of Brugge. Room is ok for a single night stay. Overall very good.

This is the most excellent Hotel to spend a romantic weekend in. Large rooms and the friendliest staff on earth. Real value for your money, in a really unique atmosphiere, mixing the medieval times with a modern interiour. Check the bar also, and look for Karel, he will tell you what to do.

Room Tip: First floor nr7

We booked this through Eurostar and stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in April 2012.

The hotel was in a great location for exploring central Bruges without being too noisy. The room was large, spacious with high ceilings and modern décor. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast provided a selection of food, although if busy this ran out, the lady would be quick to replenish the food. The hotel had a bar and seating area with a fire which had a great atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel for a long weekend stay and happily return myself.

Excellent Hotel and really friendly helpful staff who helped make our trip really special. The hotel is in an ideal spot really close to the centre but on a quieter street. The breakfast was good and the family room was really big. The old style of the building added some real charm to the place.
The children were made welcome and enjoyed the bowl of sweets in reception on every in and out we did.
We will certainly rebook if / when we visit Bruges again.

Room Tip: We only stayed in one room and it was great - first floor on the main street - great view and not no...

Good location in a quiet street near St Salvator - which gives you an early morning call whether you ask for one or not! We did not like the room much - it was pretty basic and a little tatty BUT the price was very reasonable so you can't complain.

Room Tip: Avoid no 1

Stayed here for 4 nights, booked a standard double room and got a triple room. Nice, clean room and very comfortable bed. There was a tv with dvd, a small table with 2 chairs and a wardrobe. Bathroom was small but ok.

We were really satisfied with our stay at Goezeput, it's located close to all sights and attractions and the breakfast was pleasant. Allthough, the only thing we were unsatisfied with was the fact that we were supposed to stay for 4 nights but only pay for 3 (special offer, you can even find it on their website) but the lady in the reception claimed she'd never heard of such thing. Eventually we got our money back and so ony paid for the 3 nights as supposed.

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay somewhere comfortable without having to pay a fortune.
