We stayed 3 nights here along with another couple. They had a standard double room, #1, which is beautiful but is on the street level in the front of the Hotel so they said it was a little loud at times. We had a superior double on the third floor (top) in the back, so it was not noisy but the stairs were difficult. I was aware there were no lifts when I booked the Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even booking a tour for us. The only negative is that there are no phones in the rooms and the reception closes not longer after their last guest checks in for the night and we were concerned what to do if we had a medical emergency with no phone available. You are given a door code to get into the Hotel when they close the reception. The have a nice bar area but it was closed on Saturday night, their personal time they said. Overall, the Hotel is beautiful and the people are very nice.
