Well placed. Big bed in the rooms - perfect for tall boyfriends :) Free wifi and free parking just next to the hotel. Sooo kind receptionists!!! Unexpected service as printing of fly ticket - thank you so much :) We can sincerely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night during our 'eurotrip' adventure, we were looking for something rather cheap with a free parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the lobby was clean and welcoming, it had a cosy atmosphere. We were quite surprised to hear that we were quite close to the city centre - we thought it would be best to take the bus but it turned out it is a 10-15 minutes walk in a lovely area. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, the area was super quiet we had a great sleep :) The only disadvantage was the bathroom - it was really dark, with brown tiles and quite gloomy, the light was dim so it was hard to put make up on.. I know it is hard to redecorate all the bathrooms but some new light, lamps and shower curtains would make a difference. Anyway, if you are on a budget it is a great option, and it is totally worth to visit Bruges :)

went here Pentacost weekend 2014. Bruges was packed with tourists and hotels were at thier most exensive. Hotel Olympia offered a good deal though. Value for money was fine. Hotel is a bit dated but the room was clean and the bed seemed new, so slept well. Everything worked etc. Staff was very friendly. The walk into town was a bit longer than expected but well doable. Bus stops close by as well. Would recommend it but just do not expect anything fancy. We did not try the breakfast (Bruges has so many nice places to get that!)

Room Tip: Try and get a room not in the sun all day... That really made the room very hot when we returned fro...

we stayed here for 4 nights on a Leger trip to Bruges. The hotel is small in a residential area and located a good 15 minute walk from the main town - not a problem to us but was an issue to the less able travellers. This is typical of hotels used on budget coach breaks but obviously some folk had not realised this. Our room was of a reasonable size with a king size very comfy bed. The bathroom was clean and modern with some complementary toiletries and the water was always hot.The hotel only offered breakfast: this was clear from the brochure although some people had not taken this on board. The breakfast offered was fine but a little more fresh fruit would have been nice. The hotel has a small bar and pleasant seating area in the foyer. The prices were reasonable for Bruges with a fair range on offer. Generally the service was good and the staff friendly and helpful, although one lady did upset a few people by trying to turn the lights out before eleven in the bar one evening. My only criticism would be the lack of decaff coffee on offer. Sleeo was an issue, not because of the hotel but because of other very noisy guests across the corridor. Otherwise a nice little hotel and I would be happy to stay there again.

Great hotel for the price we paid. Clean and comfortable rooms. Realistically a 20 min walk to centre of the town but an easy and pleasant walk - 10 mins to the edge of town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We did not have breakfast at hotel so cannot comment on the standard of that. Perfect for a short break, great base as easy to drive to, locate and park. Once we had parked car it did not need to move again! Nice quite location outside of the main hub. We would have no hesitation in booking here again.
Small point - doors to rooms are old fashioned key - tended to be a bit noisy opening and closing – that’s the only slight negative I can think of!

My daughter have just returned from a short break to Bruges . I would definitely recommend the Olympia. It is situated in a quiet, leafy part of Bruges, yet only about 10 minutes away from the centre of town.
Our room was comfortable and very quiet; excellent hot water-no waiting- and a very speedy Wi-Fi connection.
The breakfast was plentiful and the dining room is pleasant.
We particularly liked the hotel bar, with its conservatory type furniture- a nice place to relax before going out in the evening.
The staff are really pleasant and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room was at the side, away from the road-exceptionally quiet for a city hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights..2 star max...negatives... rooms are dated and bathroom small and smelly with shower over narrow, slippery, deep bath. The shower curtain was brown along the bottom and I had to put a towel in the bath when showering so we didn't slip.We had 2 single beds pushed together that separated as you turned in the night. The hotel bar closes at 11pm and not a minute passed and drinks are very expensive €4.50 for less than a pint of beer which ran out on the 2nd night (that's if it ran out by the way) we then had to pay €3.00 for a 25cl bottle of beer and a bottle of water was €4.00.we felt that because the hotel was situated 30 mins from the town with nothing in between they have used it to their advantage regarding prices.we were also charged on our checkout a €7.50 per room tourist tax that we had never heard of and are researching....positive..Brugge which is absolutely lovely, lots to see and do and the breakfast wasn't too bad could of done with some fresh fruit apples, bananas, oranges etc.Brugge is a must go to place and we are going to return but not to this hotel.
