Location was fantastic, staff were very welcoming and our room with the walkout was great.
Ask for room 24.

Central, clean, efficient. This hotel is ideal and situated within 5 to10 minutes of the Burg and Markt. The propriators are helpful when needed, the rooms are clean and attended to daily. The breakfast is extensive and appertising. One small critisism, not tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, that apart....... Need a hotel that is central, clean with a good hearty breakfast to get you on your way, this is the place. Nothing more needed to be said really.

My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay and were amazed at how great this so called 3* hotel was. We found it very easily by foot from the train station and were delighted by both the hotel and the staff. The hotel is clean, comfortable and felt far grander then the three awarded stars. Our room was large and clean and so quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed,a safe, mini bar, phone and hairdryer.Free tea and coffee was served between 15.00 and 16.00 and at other times it was charged at 2 euros but this was fine.Breakfast was served in the beautiful breakfast room and the food was great, boiled or scrambled eggs toast ,breads, pastries ,cheeses, hams, ceareals and yogarts, fruit salad, fruit juice and endless supplies of hot drinks. We would recommend this hotel to anyone,we can't praise it enough.

Our family stayed here two nights and found the owners very friendly and helpful. They helped us deal with a rental vehicle issue that could have been a real problem. Rooms are not modern but are comfortable, although I agree with the comment about the small TVs. Fortunately if you are really enjoying Bruges, you won't have time for TV. Breakfast was a good variety, with eggs cooked to order.

Garrett and Elvi do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. You can see that they really put their hearts into running the hotel. Even Elvi's parents were there tending the beautiful garden. Gracious and accomodating without being overtly friendly. Only negative comments are that we would have liked to have feather pillows and a top sheet on the bed, we were on the 3rd floor and the duvet was too warm for a summer night.
