I stayed here with my partner & family over Valentines weekend, it was our first visit to Bruges but won`t be our last. The Vaneyck is a comfortable & friendly little hotel in a great location. The owner is very friendly & extremely helpful, The facilities are basic but provide everything you will need. The beds are very comfy & the breakfast lovely. You won`t find a better hotel for the price and location, just round the corner from the square. A little place with a big heart. Tony, Vicky & family.

This hotel is located in the middle of the city centre near the Markt. Lovely old hotel with an extremely helpful owner. Breakfast is totally fresh. The room was tidy, clean and nicely decorated. The bed is great.

My son and I stayed for 4 nights in September, 2011. The B & B has lovely olde-worlde character and the decor of the rooms and throughout is quaint and charming. Both of our rooms were spacious, very clean and with modern bathrooms. Marielle was a great host, very helpful with suggestions of activities and places to go. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and Marielle also packed me a breakfast to have later on my departure day as I was leaving early - much appreciated. Very centrally located, close to the main square, shops and railway station. Great value and highly recommended.

Small hotel, very near the Markt - we had a lovely view of the Belfry from our room. The owner is really friendly and helpful and breakfast was great - lovely bread and pastries with bread, cheese, fruit and cake as well as the usual cereal, yogurt and jam. Decoration was a little tired, especially on the staircase, but it is a very old building and there were some attractive pieces of period furniture and pictures. We would definitely recommend this hotel

Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable, there is no air conditioning, but fans are in the hallway for your use, the owner is really nice and extremely helpful, breakfast was great, the bread was so fresh and there was plenty of everything. Its only a few minutes walk to the centre of everything and an easy 15minute walk to the train station.

A group of four of us stayed in this hotel for just the one night but I wish we were there longer, simply because the hotel was defiantly one of the highlights of my stay in Bruges.

We were greeted at reception by Mireille, who went above and beyond with trying to help us out. Definitely the warmest welcome we could of received. She aimed to accommodate each and every one of us by ensuring the rooms and beds were perfect. We were also provided with suggestions of the best things to do in Bruges during our 24 hour stay in the town as well as a recommendation about the celebrations in the main square for the Belgian National Holiday.

The room was ideal for the stay. It is in a rather old building but the room is still very clean, well maintained and is a credit to the owner. The bed was also extremely comfortable and I had a wonderful sleep there!

Breakfast, which was included as part of our package, was perfect. A wide variety of pastries, cereals, yoghurts, meats and cheeses were available as well as teas & coffees. It was perfect and had me full for the day!

I will most definitely be back!
