“Pretty but expensive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 December 2013

It's worth a walk round to see the various shops and striking architecture but this area is expensive. We called into a cafe for a drink and two hot chocolates cost €10! The Christmas market was a disappointment.

You certainly need to visit this area whilst in Bruges but venture further out to eat.

I loved Bruges, I would love to go back there someday. The Market area is very pretty, the architecture is something to see.

“Eat elswhere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2013

A varied and interesting number of attractions within a small area. Probably needs at least a couple of days to do them justice.
The main eateries are rip offs price wise, so walk off the main area to the side streets and pick a nice pub and you will get a delicious meal to go with the choice of several thousand different beers.

“Lots to do and see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 December 2013

Xmas market although there was a slight disappointment, was very much like the German markets you get in your local high street, the belfry and the town hall was stunning and the ice skating was fun
