Wow, this hotel surprised us as we only stayed for one night while traveling between Paris and Amsterdam. But we wanted to stay longer! First of all, the price was phenomenal, and included free breakfast. Second, LOCATION. Perfect location. Bruges itself is very small, and it was so easy to walk back to the hotel (2 minutes from Markt) if we needed to drop something off or just wanted to rest. The room and bathroom were small, but that was expected. Extremely quiet location, although close to the main Markt you do not pick up night time traffic noise. This was the first night, after 6 nights in noisy Paris, that I had a decent sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a very comfortable stay and everyone was very friendly. We didn't eat at Cafe Rose Red, but the breakfast in the morning was very plentiful. If I ever come back to Bruges, this is where I will be staying.
