Location wise this hotel is perfectly situated. On a 3 minute walk to the main center square and with plenty of nice shops and restaurants around.
The reception was helpful and attentive. The room was a bit small (the space between the foot end of the bed and the wall could have been bigger) but nicely furnished (classic style as most hotels in Bruges) and clean (as was the bathroom). Also due to the double windows there was no noise coming in. Breakfast was perfect, with good service and fresh produce every day.
If you plan to go to Bruges, and you like a bit of a nostalgic feel, give this place a try.

We stayed here over Christmas time, and everything was fantastic. The bathrooms had heated floors, L Ocotaine products, and comfortable bed. Great service and Breakfast. This is a small hotel so the rooms are small and there is not a hotel restaurant beyond breakfast, but there is a bar, and it is right in the heart of everything.

I would stay here again, and this hotel started my love affair with boutique hotels.

Having stayed in various hotels around the world this has to go down as one of the best. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is first class only a few minutes stroll from all the attractions. We took advantage of the spa facilities which are stunning. I recommend you go before 5pm as they are small and after that did become a bit crowded. The buffet breakfast is superb with attentive staff. We will certainly go back there later this year.

Room Tip: Opt for a room at the front of the building - any street noise is lost with decent windows and air c...

A lovely hotel perfectly situated just off the square. Polite, helpful staff and lovely rooms. An excellent breakfast following a very comfortable night. What more can be said ?! I would highly recommend this hotel.

After the original hotel we booked (Hotel Aragon) experienced an overbooking error (we were notified the night before we were to arrive), we were moved to the Hotel Oud Huis De Peelaert. Whilst I wasn't happy about such a late change in plans, I must say, however, that after we arrived at the Oud Huis De Peelaert, we were quite pleased. The hotel was incredibly clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the beds very comfortable, and the breakfasts were very good. The location was ideal; however, there is a Charlie Rocket's restaurant across the street from the hotel, and the crowd outside the restaurant can be quite noisy in the evenings, if you have a room that overlooks the street in front of the hotel. Luckily the double windows in the room blocked out the majority of noise. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and would happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the street provide nice views, but you may experience some noise from the restaura...

It is always a hit and miss affair when going new places but this hotel did not miss.
Situated a few minutes from the Burg and Markt it is central to all the old and wonderful places this beautiful town has to offer. It is a beautiful hotel.
The rooms was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and the choice of breakfast was one of the best I have experienced.
The attitude of the staff can make or break a hotel but there can be no complaints here, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This will be my hotel of choice when I return to Bruges

A very stylish hotel within easy walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. From initial reception to departure the staff were first class, always friendly and willing to help with any query. The room was very clean and spacious with good air conditioning and a free safe facility (ask at reception for key lock). The hotel even supply travel adapters if you forget to pack one.

Breakfast was included in the price and provided a good selection of choice.

The station is a 20 - 25 minute walk from the station, however NOTE all of the roads and walkways are cobbled therefore if you have cases take a taxi (Approx 6 Euro)!

The hotel does not have an evening restaurant but there are lots of options within easy walking distance. The hotel has a bar open until midnight and prices are reasonable, lots of seating space to read or play games etc.

As this is a city hotel there is local street noise, with bar almost immediately opposite, so would recommend closing windows at night and using air con.

We would certainly use this hotel again if we return to Bruges
