“A Treasure!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our visit to Bruge. This is a lovely B & B; beautifully renovated; very high end bathroom with gorgeous fixtures. Breakfast was served in the conservatory; a great space along their central garden courtyard. The food was delicious as was the presentation. Sandra and Jason were wonderful hosts and provided help with restaurant recommendations and sights to see. On the day we left, our cab did not arrive as requested by Sandra. We hoped to catch the 10 am. train to Brussels for our onward Thalys journey to Amsterdam. The clock was ticking... Jason grabbed his car keys, drove us to the train station where we managed to catch the train with not a second to spare. This was over, above and beyond any expectation as a bed and breakfast guest. I expressed my thanks and gratitude to Sandra and Jason in a personal email. You will enjoy your stay!

My husband and I stayed here in May 2014 for three nights and it was the perfect place to stay in the beautiful and busy town of Bruges. It is a little sanctuary at the end of a tourist filled day. We stayed in the Blueberry Room - great room size for a B&B or any hotel - with a lovely bathroom. Thank you Jason for carrying our luggage up and down the stairs which you do for everyone. Sandra guided us through the map of the city which was very helpful. Her breakfasts were delish. Jason lent us an electrical converter (we left ours in an outlet in Amsterdam), and we accidentally took it with us! I'll be sending it back by mail shortly. Great B&B/Hotel - you'll love it.

Room Tip: If you have mobility issues with stairs you may find this B&B not suitable - but Jason will carr...

My husband arranged a surprise birthday treat for my 40th birthday and, based on the great reviews, The Townhouse was his first choice. We were not disappointed. We had the pleasure of staying three nights at this charming bed and breakfast and were delighted. Our room, the Attic Room, was spacious and beautifully decorated with a wonderful view of Bruges. The complimentary toiletries and bottled water were extremely welcoming after our three hour journey from the UK. The Townhouse has clearly been renovated with comfort in mind and this is reflected in the glowing reviews.

On arrival, we were greeted by Jason and Sandra who could not do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. What brilliant hosts, gracious and accommodating and offering useful tips and recommendations for food and drink. Their attention to detail was noted in the wonderful décor and little extras – chocolates, and red wine glasses thoughtfully placed in our room on the second night.

Breakfast each morning was superb. A delicious choice of freshly squeezed juice, tea and coffee in abundance, scrambled egg with smoked salmon and other egg variations, all preceded by fresh fruit, yoghurt with caramelised fruit and granola, and a variety of breads with cheese and ham. This was a great start to our day, and extremely delicious. Jason and Sandra put a lot of effort into attending to your needs.

Well located, beautiful and with a feeling of luxury, we would thoroughly recommend The Townhouse. I am uncertain how it can be beaten with such friendly and attentive hosts. Bruges itself is beautiful, tranquil and at the top of our list of places visited. The Townhouse will be our first choice when we return to Bruges at a later date. Thank you.

Room Tip: You can't fault the Attic Room...a great view with that feeling of luxury.

We loved our stay at the Townhouse. Jason and Sandra were great hosts and very helpful with info about the area. We stayed in the Blueberry Suite and it was great especially the big very comfortable bed. It is on the third floor so you have to be willing to walk up--its worth it. The location is quiet but a short walk to all the attractions. Breakfast is yummy. We were lucky to arrive on the day of the procession of the Holy Blood which was quite a wonderful spectacle. The whole city of Bruges is worth seeing and walking around, museums are interesting and not too big. We went to the harp concert across from the Church of Our Lady and really enjoyed it--free too. Spend enough time to soak it all in but watch out for the crowds.

We arrived in Brugge on Sunday the first of June and left on tuesday the third with much sadness.
We want to stay more time at the townhouse and in brugge!
The owners suggest us, a restaurant near the b&b, the name is Mojo.
Great restaurant, very good food and friendly with our little child.
Everything is great at the Townhouse!
Lo consigliamo a tutti quelli vorranno visitare Brugge.
Molto vicino al centro.
Nulla da aggiungere. Posto bellissimo. Grande cordialità.

We stayed at the Townhouse for three nights and were absolutely delighted with our choice of accommodation. Our room (the Vanilla Suite) was beautiful, spacious and very homely - we could totally relax there. We even had views of two of Bruges main churches, making it an idyllic spot to sit by the window and read your book (for the morning when the grey skies made leaving our room too difficult!) Breakfast each morning was delicious and something we looked forward to each day! Jason and Sandra were brilliant hosts, always more than happy to have a chat and give us tips about where to go in Bruges. Location was great - everywhere was easily walkable, including all the main attractions and also parking facilities close by. I will, without a doubt, stay here again if I visit Bruges.

Room Tip: Have a look at the photos of the rooms on the website beforehand to make sure you select the one you...

We stayed at The Townhouse for three nights and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Bruges. Our room was large, beautiful and extremely comfortable, with little extras like toiletries, bottled water and chocolate (what else, in Bruges?!) making our stay even more special.

Breakfast each morning was superb, with the yogurt and fruit combination particularly delicious, and our early breakfast on the day of our departure was much appreciated, setting us up nicely for our train trip back to Brussels.

The B&B's location was also perfect - just a few minutes walk from all of the main attractions, but far enough away to be an oasis of peace and quiet when the crowds got too much!

All in all, a fabulous choice in Bruges.

Room Tip: The Blueberry Suite is gorgeous but it is up three flights of stairs so may not be suitable for olde...
