We were very surprised with the quality of the food, we had salmon and half a roast chicken, which were both very tasty and well presented. The french fries were also very crisp and hot.
We had initially looked at a menu with mussels but were pleasantly disappointed to hear that they only serve mussels when in season, which is a good sign for any restaurant I find. Staff was friendly, atmosphere is modern but still cozy. All in all a good find.

Our 14 year old son asked if we could go here for a meal because he thought it looked very nice. We ordered 2 mixed grills, the homemade burger and the rack of lamb. All we amazing, quick service, a truly great choice for a meal.

Our receptionist told us, it is hard to have a bad meal in Brugge if you avoid a main square. We choose Zand place to have a lunch.

The brasserie has a lovely terrace with comfy and elegant chairs so we decided to stop.
The service was prompt and the ambience was lovely. For appetizers I had the salad ( day special) which was delicious but really HUGE! My husbund had a soup which was good as well, for entree we shared the mussels in garlic-cream sauce. delucious again. Also we had a couple of pints of locall draught beers.
Our lunch was really good, the finall bill was around 80 euros. Not cheap, but Bruges is not a cheap place to eat.
I would recommend this place but I would suggest you to share!!!
One salad and one portions of mussels are just a perfect lunch for two. The portions are really big!
