We stayed here for 2 days in Feb 09 after booking a P&O FERRIES offer from Hull. We were taken by coach to the Train station in Bruges, and let me just give you a little tip as it is very confusing where to go when you arrive to the train station, with the train station behind you cross over the road and just keep walking by the side of the large wall to the left to head into the centre of the town, it takes about 15 mins walk.
The hotel was so easy to find as there are maps all over Bruges, so you dont need a map to find your way around - we never had one and it took about 20 mins to walk to the hotel from the station.
We arrived to the hotel at about 10am and were quickly checked in and taken to our room by a lovely young lady (which I thought was lovely as we were so early) The room we were taken to, number 12, was absolutly beautiful, have a look at the pictures I have posted of it. And the bathroom in the room was very luxurious, again as per the pics!.
Infact reading some of the negative comments about this hotel I honestly think they mst have stayed somewhere else.

Around the hotel there are many rooms to relax in with beautiful artwork and statues and a little Bar (which is only small but very nice) the main lounge around the corner from reception (with a comuter for internet access) has lots of relaxing and quite regal lounging chairs and couches and a beautiful open fire with 2 wingbacked chairs facing it (looks real but is gas and seems to be on 24 hours a day) what a lovely little place to snuggle after a cold day. We ended up falling asleep infront of here twice it was so cosy and surprisingly quiet.
The only thing is the internet access in the lounge seems very expensive so either bring your laptop or there is a internet cafe not far from the hotel - use that!
The breakfast room is one of the most amazing rooms I have seen. Where else can you pay £91.92 for 2 people bed and breakfast, and be faced with champagne, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast and as much of it as you can eat and drink? .....what a lovely way to start the morning :~)
There is also so much else to choose from: Cold meats, cheeses, seeded breads, pastries, 10 different Jams and spreads, Bacon, Hardboiled eggs, about 8 different cerials, every type of fruit you can think of, fruit juices, 6 different types of teas, cofees - really EVERYTHING and ANYTHING!!
Go for a champagne though with whatever you choose :~) and its not cheap...More
