Very strange and unreliable owner. I was still talking to her on the phone asking about the required length of the stay (because she said reqd length was 3 nights instead of the 2 they claim on the website, we only needed to stay for 2) when she all of the sudden decided she wanted to rent it to someone else who apparently emailed her during the phone conversation. I didn't even get the chance to say ok to 2 nights.
After this I'm not feeling so bad about not staying here, because they're obviously unreliable.

The location, rooms and breakfast were very good.
However the service could have been much better, we all felt that Nicky was a 'frosty' host.
The smell of cigerette smoke from down-stairs was also a big negative, along with a punctured inflatable bed in the 'suite'.
Also we ate in her restaurant down stairs on New Years eve, the menu was a change from the regular one (which I guess is understandable), unfortunately we were served only modest fair at a highly inflated price.
Also our drinks bill at 55 euro for one bottle of 15 euro red, a glass of pink and a few cokes was well over the top.

We really had a wonderful time in Bruges. The weather was nice, and the Bed and Breakfast turned out to be one of the best choices we could have made. Nicky was really friendly towards us and the other guests and the room was just what we had in mind: very clean and comfortable. The breakfast tasted super and we are already looking forward to coming to Bruges once more... Thank you Nicky!

We stayed in the Suite for one night. It was lovely, quiet and spacious.
The food was amazing (and cheap compared to the rest of Bruges) and the selection of beers was great.
This B&B is minutes from the centre of Bruges, walking, and there was parking outside.
The B&B is quirky and the owners are lovely. It could do with a vacuum, but otherwise, we loved it and would definitely go back.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in June at Nicky's B&B and our experience was wonderful.

We stayed in the deluxe room and it was very nice and comfortable with a lovely view through the large windows to the little street below.

The rooms are quiet and a different fresh breakfast is served every morning.

There is a restaurant downstairs that serves delicious local cuisine or just walk 10 minutes and be immersed in Bruges excellent beer and food scene.

Nicky herself is a lovely lady and made our stay very enjoyable, we would defiantly stay here again next time we are in Bruge.

We stayed at Nicky's B&B for four nights in June 2005 and enjoyed our stay there. Nicky herself was very friendly and welcoming and the B&B was suited to our budget.

The location is excellent, being 5-10 minutes walk from the main tourist centre but far enough away to be in a peaceful and quiet area. The immediate area surrounding the B&B was very nice and felt very safe. It was also very nice to come away from the main tourist areas, and all the other tourists. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from the canals and 2 or 3 different restaurants. There is also a very nice small park (with no tourists in) about 5 minutes walk away. The nearest bus stops are no more than 5 minutes walk away.

We stayed in "The Blue Room" on the top floor. The room was not fantastic but did have everything we needed en-suite, unlike many other B&Bs in Brugge, and was very clean. The room was open plan, with the toilet and shower being behind a partitioned wall without their own seperate door. We did have trouble with the small mosquitos which bit us at night so we would recommend taking some mosquito repellant.

The breakfasts were very nice and filling with bread, cooked meats, cheese, boiled eggs, pan au chocolat, fresh coffee and orange juice. We did not eat in the restaurant but did drink in there one night and found it to have a nice atmosphere and cheap prices (and good beer, as always in Brugge!).

All in all, we enjoyed our stay here. The price was reasonable and the location was excellent, if it wasn't for the mosquito's it would have been perfect!
