We booked this hotel as it was away from the centre but close enough to walk there. It is situated on a quiet canal. As we knew we would not be arriving until late in the evening, we emailed ahead to warn them. It wasn't a problem and they even let us have a drink from the bar despite it having closed. Don't expect to get a drink anyother night after 11pm as the bar closes promptly and we had to take our drinks to our room to finish them! The room (210) was lovely with windows on both sides. The only problem we found was as it was warm and we left the windows open, so were plagued with mosquitos and other biting insects. The buffet breakfast was lovely, fresh and plentiful with lots of choice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and you can leave your luggage if not checking out until later in the day. There are a number of places to eat in the evenings nearby (DaNissi was our favourite) if you wanted to avoid the bustle of the town centre. Despite leaving we lots of insect bites we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to other travellers
We stayed in this hotel for a weekend, in the middle of june. Is situated on a canal in a quite zone, 10 min walk from the main square.
The hotel is charming, not so big and with wonderful staff. I must remind Elvira, one of the desk managers, a very sweet blonde! She was very nice and help us a lot (help us for making a reservation to a shuttle bus, call us a taxi, she give us a lot of tips about Bruges etc). Thank you, Elvira!
The rooms are nice, clean and we find tea and coffee making facilities.
The wi-fi is working very good!
The breakfast buffet is plentiful, anyone can find something good to eat. I loved the omelet and the croissants!
This lovely small hotel is situated by a canal in a very quiet residential neighborhood about a 10 minute walk to the Market square. The buffet breakfast is to die for! It's prepared by a very sweet woman from Russia. The manager of the hotel, Anne, is very special! She could not have been nicer or more accomodating-a real can do attitude. Our room overlooked the canal and was very nice. We really enjoyed our three night stay and highly recommend this charming hotel.
Hotel is nice. Located about 10 minutes walk from the main market. Staff is very good. We had booked through CLEARTRIP. Avoid this site for online bookings. There was a major miscommunication between hotel and website. We had asked for Family room (2 adults+ 2 kids). However, the hotel was not informed and they did not have any family rooms left. We had to make do with a different room. Overall hotel and stay was comfortable.
Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the main square. Very pleasant and helpful welcome. Room was very clean and large even though there were three of us. Safe in large wardrobe, spacious bathroom and tv, tea coffee making facilities and free WiFi. Breakfast had a range of food including cereals, breads., croissants, eggs, bacon and beans.
