Perhaps I had too much expectation! After I found this quite family-feel bnb in the web, I’s very excited and thought that staying in this house allowed us to have nice talk with this family at night, to see the special architecture design of this house, learnt something about Belgians …….everything could make us feel at home. Disappointedly, it was not as “homestay” as the description of the web at all. It’s quite commercialized. I’m not sure there are how many rooms. What I found was at least 3 rooms. These rooms are located in an area just behind the main entrance. If you need to go inside of the house further, you have to open a big door that I found only open in the breakfast time. So, going inside to talk with the family at night was just an imagination. In fact, through the glass door I found no one was there at night. However, even if you could go inside, don’t expect the owners were there. The setting of this breakfast room (or living room) told me that it was basically for guests. The owners won’t stay there!
Moreover, as our room faced the west, when we went back every evening, the room was hot and windless. So we had to stay in city centre until late evening.
The good things of this bnb is that the hostess, Marie, is a very nice lady. She will try her best to answer your questions. As for her husband, we had only chance to say hello to him in the morning.
