We stayed for 3 nights in July.
The room was average sized (for Europe) and clean.
The bathroom was a good size and also clean.
Even though the rooms did not have housekeeping we could request clean towels whenever we wished.
Reception was very helpful letting us know the cheapest and quickest way to get into town.
Beds and pillows had nice clean linen and were neither incredible comfy nor uncomfortable.
What really let this place down for us was the noise and the smoking.
We had a non smoking room and outside our room was an ashtray which other guests used so there was an awful stale ashtray smell whenever we came out of went in. This on its own would have been tolerable I guess. The noise however was not.
The room had an adjoining door to the next room which seemed to be not noise insulated at all as we could hear absolutely everything that happened in next doors bathroom. Which was pretty gross. Also noisy upstairs neighbours coming and going during the night.

Room Tip: Maybe upstairs on the end or one with no adjoining door

Was worried about some of the previous reveiews but had absolutely nothing to concern myself with. A clean room which was essentially just a place to sleep. I would actually consider using this again - car park is handy (especially in a place like Bruges where parking is a premium!) and there is a restaurant right next to it if you need somewhere close by.
Don't bother with taxi's - 20 Euros for a 2 mile journey to the centre of Bruges!! There is a bus stop really close by if you don't have access to car.

Reception was closed when we arrived, but instructions were sent via text with details of how to pick up our key from a safety deposit box on arrival.
The room we had looked directly onto a huge field with horses and donkeys, the main road in nearby, but it was not noisy at all. It was a gorgeous spot to sit outside and eat breakfast!
We had a triple room, which was a double bed and a put up bed on the floor which was perfect for our 6 year old, unfortunately, we did not get the microwave and fridge in our room, but a microwave was provided in an instant when we asked about it, and we just about found space for it when we needed to use it! The manager was lovely and very accommodating, wifi was excellent, outdoor space great for children, or just to sit in the sunshine!
We bought all our own food so can't comment on breakfast or meals. We stayed for 2 nights, and were not expecting our room to be cleaned - but it was.
The drive to Bruges city centre is so easy from here, parking in the station car park is only 3.50 euros for all day, and you get free bus tickets when you park there too, although I'm sure a taxi would be cheap also if you wanted to enjoy the beer in town!
An excellent stay, and we would definitely return.

Ps, our sat nav took us the wrong way - it is on the right hand side of the final roundabout, not left...

Room Tip: 306 faces the field, has room for a put up single bed on the floor, but there is no fridge/microwave...

We stayed here for 6 days in July and chose it because it was the cheapest place in an otherwise expensive location. The rooms are clean and compact but well set up and have the essentials such as a kettle and small fridge so we could do our own breakfast. The down side is that the rooms are not cleaned while we are there so after 6 days it was getting a bit funky but a shorter stay would be fine. the outside is looking run down and the railings up the stairs are held together in places by clamps! there is a restaurant on site which was closed for holidays while we were there but I believe otherwise serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The accommodation is located on a busy road on one side and has a nice grass area with 2 swings and a couple of outdoor tables and chairs. It is located about 31/2 kms from Bruges-takes about 40mins to walk or we hired bikes which was much better. the female manager was lovely and very, very helpful, she even went as far as lending her son's scooter to our boys to have a play on.

Rooms are basic but clean and perfectly adequate for a couple of nights stay. Hotel is currently undergoing improvement. Free wifi with good connection was an added bonus. The lady on reception was very friendly and extremely helpful with good advice about Bruges.
Reception is only open for limited hours in the morning and evening but you can also report problems via their website. We had a bulb not working, reported on the website and it had been replaced when we returned to the hotel.
Hotel is in good location for exploring Bruges. Buses
are frequent and cheap and run until 2am on fir and sat nights. Would recommend as a low cost option for visiting the area

Room Tip: Rooms away from the road are quieter

Bit tricky to find using the satnav (it's on the main road at the roundabout). Arrived mid-afternoon but was not permitted to check-in until 4pm, which was a bit of a pain. To be fair, the new management were under considerable stress restoring rooms after the previous rowdy guests who had caused damage to the decor. The initial grumpy response from one of the staff was rude and abrupt to say the least, but later recovered by the lady on reception who was delightful despite the stresses in her day.
This place is clean, basic and absolutely fine for a first or last night on the continent but probably wouldn't be my choice for an extended stay. Our room was facing the road and pretty noisy as a result, and combined with no blind on the velux window made a good nights sleep difficult. It has seen better days but I get the impression the new team are aiming to make improvements.
The walk into the centre of town is a good 40 mins (we don't dawdle!), but busses are available.
In sum, a basic and clean place to crash out for a night, but for longer stays lacks charm.

Room Tip: Facing away from the main road!

Definitely a no-frills hotel, but decent value for money for Brugges. About a half hour walk/2-3 miles from the centre. Room was very clean if maybe a little worn. There was a little traffic noise from the main road when the window was open, so I'd definitely ask for a room facing inwards if I stayed again. Pretty good overall!
