We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Really good family run hotel, spotlessly clean room with good sized bathroom. Dining room again was spotless and choice for continental breakfast was really good with plenty of options. Service was very good and very helpful and friendly owners. Excellent location. certainly would use this hotel again and will recommend to friends and family. we spent a really enjoyable holiday here.

We were in Bruges for a total of four nights, and this hotel had been recommended to us from two lots of friends who had stayed here on previous occasions. We were not disappointed with our choice. The welcome was warm, the room was a good size, the bathroom and amenities were clean and well maintained, the location was excellent, being only a short walk from most of the city's key attractions. We were also provided with some excellent recommendations for local restaurants, and more importantly, the breakfast provided was very generous and would easily satisfy any appetite. On the day of our departure we had to leave very early, and again we were assisted with booking a taxi to get us to the train station, and we were provided with a breakfast picnic to enjoy on the train. We believe that Hotel Loreto is good value for money and would recommend it to other travellers.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the front of the hotel to avoid any traffic noise (not that there is much t...

This was probably the best hotel of our trip. We nearly cancelled because there didn't appear to be anywhere to store bicycles. There wasn't as it turned out. We stayed with the booking because of the positive comments on Tripadvisor. We were pleased that we did. This is a family run hotel, where the service is far superior ot other places we stayed at. Our bikes were happily accepted by the owners, and they allowed us to park them in the corner of the dining room. The wi-fi worked well in the bedroom. There was also a small fridge in the room which was very handy. They lent us umbrellas when it was raining. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very central for Bruges and we stayed for 2 nights. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The Belgium chocs on the bed on our second night were a lovely touch! The only complaint we might have had was that the room was too hot at night. They provided a fan and that helped,We tried to leave the window open, but the street outside was too noisy to leave it open. With narrow, cobbled streets and tall sided buildings, cars and trucks sounded like herding elephants. When the window was closed it was very quiet, but warm. We would stay here again, and we would recommend it.

Room Tip: Make sure there is a fan / air con inthe room during the warmer weather

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable for my taste-felt like a memory foam mattress.Nice to have a bath and a shower in the bathroom. The minibar was good value for money -a beer for 2 euros in a hotel!
Breakfast was very good-a good choice of continental breakfast served in a lovely dining room.
Staff friendly and courteous.
Only down side was it was noisy -could hear traffic and a party at a nearby restaurant until the early hrs-as had window open -room was hot.
The small square just behind the hotel had some nice restaurants -had a lovely meal at a modern resturant just on the corner of the square reached by walking just alongside the hotel. - can't remember the name!
Lots of shops nearby to buy chocolates, beer and other delicious souvenirs! All sites within walking distance. Enjoyed a short boat trip also accessed just a few yards away.
The multi storey carpark just along the road opposite the hotel was good value for a 24 hr stay.

I had a wonderful weekend in Brugge and found the Hotel Loreto perfect for my needs. I wanted to maximize my time with sightseeing and unique experiences. The proprietors were friendly and helpful in my meeting my objectives. During my stay I was especially enthralled with the wonderful "Dutch" breakfast display, one that I hadn't seen since I left the Netherlands a few decades ago. With such an ample start to the day, I could enjoy Belgian chocolate, beer, waffles, etc as encountered and still have energy and nutrition to spare. I was delighted to get a take-out food package when I left early for the train my last morning.

Room Tip: This hotel has a lift! A real plus since I was tired of hauling my suitcase up and down stairs.

This hotel was a really nice experience. Brugge is the kind of place where you just want to walk around, take in the scenery and relax and this hotel makes that so easy. It’s located on the main drag of Brugge and since our room faced the street we heard the carriages passing by—which we kind of liked. The staff was really helpful and they also recommended where we might find a good, fairly priced place to eat. Plus they offered a few “don’ts” as well. There are two smaller sqares right near the hotel, and the food there was great. When we checked in, we were given a discount card to use at the various attractions around Brugge. We only used it for the boat tour, but it was such a great “perk” to get a few dollars off the boat.
