“In general, NO!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2013 via mobile

Despite a really nice welcoming this is not a place I would go the extra mile for. Visited with my family (2 small kids) and no alternatives for the younger generation. The entrecôte for the grown ups was almost well done and not what we ordered. The interior is classic traditional country style with a real and authentic "worn down" touch. As a grand finale the 50+ women's tennis club uses the bathroom in the back frequently after games. This did not make my appetite better.

“average meal”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2012

Me and my wife went to the hoeve to go out eating a wednesday eveing. We both asked a starter and than a steak. My starter were cheese croquets which were home made. y wife took the soup of the day, which she very much liked.
As a main we chose a steak. The steak was ok, not super quality, but ok.
The menu was however quite limited by steak, but you can see this as a good thing too, you're pretty sure that the things they offer are fresh.
Well, not unforgettable, but a reasonable meal against a reasonable price.
