Hotel du Parc provides a very good service in a confortable environment . The hotel is located in the very city centre within walking distance of the beach . It has old charm appeal and offers quality for decent prices . Rooms are confortable and staff is helpfull and responsive . A good place to relax and enjoy the best of this Belgian seaside resort.

If you're into art deco & the seaside, Ostend's Hotel Du Parc is a must see. But perhaps you should consider spending your money in the bistro, instead of the hotel.
I feel the hotel didn't add to the experience. The rooms are clean, but a bit outdated..
The breakfastroom was way too small, since the hotel was fully booked, and the breakfast itself was a bit meager. All in all it was pretty crowed in general, maybe that's clouding my judgement?
On the upside: the staff is friendly and the sea is just around the corner!

We went here for a meal as recommended by one of our guide books but were quite disappointed. For "Art Deco" read tired. It is a shame as there are some great features to be brought into the 21st century. The lunch menu is as old as the decor looks and there were one or two issues with the meal;
1. One pot of tea was only half full and we asked for it to be filled; it wasn't.
2. In a nice place when you are served bread I haven't been served processed, sliced bread since eating in a chip shop in Cleethorpes.
3. The omelettes we had were OK but a little undercooked.
4. As with the tired decor some pots were chipped and looked like they had seen better days.

Don't get me wrong, I love Art Deco and authenticity, which there is some of but this doesn't allow a place to be living in the 70's.

The interior of the bar and the restaurant is not to be missed. Nearly everything is still in good shape, decorations, letterings, chairs, tables, furniture, ... All in art deco style. No idea how the rooms look on the higher levels, probably they were renewed through the years.
Don't get fooled by the rather basic menu. A filter coffee is not a plastic recipient on top of your cup but an original plated filter!
Service is impeccable.

Since 10 years I always go back to this place in Ostend. It is a nice art deco hotel. Stylish. Clean and beautiful furnished rooms, good beds. Breakfast is fine. Breakfast room is great. The bar at the street level (Brasserie du Parc) is superb, a real jewel.

First the good. location to beach, & shopping. Breakfast good by American standards. Water pressure in bath/shower good and hot. Sheets clean, bathroom clean. The bad; mattress terrible. Room loud from traffic and drunks outside. No A/C! Parking was not available they only have 8 spots. 10 minute walk I found free parking. Safe combo broke, staff gave me a key next day. Carpet floor. Rooms need renovating. Peeling paint, craked window ledge. I won't stay there again. No baggage cart.

Room Tip: Be wary of so called 3 stars. If this is a typical 3 star, then I recommend looking for 4 stars. F...

A nice hotel, decent rooms,no grand luxury, unfortunatally carpet on the floor. A little bit smelly. Unbeatable location ! Shopping streets begin littereally at the hotel-entrance, with the sea and the long beautiful promenade (Leopold I Promenade) just behind the hotel. You can also leave your car in the hotel car parking, for a daily fee (14 euros), but it is in a secure locked garage (which is about 10 min walk away though, but easy enough to find) and catch the tram right outside the frontdoor, for easy travel all along the coastline!
simple but good breakfast included in room rates and certainly worth the money too. We enjoy staying at this hotel, but it is mostly because of the excellent location. Helpfull staff. Have lunch at Le Basque, at the Leoppold I Promenade. Value for money.

Room Tip: Not at the front side, noisy.
