The mussel-season just started in Belgium and we wanted to taste this delicatesse asap. We had a tip about this restaurant that is famous for his fish, lobster & mussel-dishes.
We started with a little misunderstanding : we asked for a bottle of house-champagne but got 4 glasses instead :-( ..
We chose the mussel-menu : first we had raw mussels. This was my first time that I ate raw mussels but it was very good. After that we had mussels with fine herbs and mussels in garlik (my personal favorite) that both were good dishes.
The main dish were mussels nature (the classical way) : very good but for me personal was the portion a little bit too small.
We ended this meal with an ice-cream and a coffee. Some advice : only the three of us that ordered a coffee got a slice of cake.
Why don't give a slice to the 4th person as wel ?
The restaurant has a good choice of wines but they are rather expensive.
My conclusion is that we had a good meal for a correct price and we will surely visit this restaurant again in the future.
