This site is quite small (so not huge amounts of walking required) but is one of my favourite WW1 sites to visit. It is possible to enter the bunkers and helps you start to understand (in a very small way) how dreadful the conditions must have been. Highly recommended.

“So many stones”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

It takes your breath away when you see all the headstones so many lost men how much would they have achieved if they had lived.

“Tranquil”

Here there is the grave of a 15 year old. Its so quiet and peaceful and somehow that adds to the whole thing, when you hear of the conditions and the horror that occurred here

a great reminder of the poem and a particularly good cemetery to visit if you don't have enough time to do a tour. It's not far out of the centre, but you will have to drive.

“Poppy poem”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

With so many similar sites around, this site is a must for poet lovers and interesting for this reason or of course, if you have loved ones or family buried here. Other sites are far more dramatic and thought provoking.
