We loved this hotel, particularly the terrace, which was a fabulous place to have a drink or meal. The room was clean and spacious and well appointed. The buffet breakfast was extensive and constantly refreshed. Staff were courteous and helpful. Something not to miss is the house made advocaat which is served in little jam jars with a spoon. Totally delicious

This is a good hotel, not cheap but well worth the extra.
The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and well equipped.
The location was great being in the centre of Ypres and there is ample parking within the hotel grounds.

Would I stay here again - definitely

We chose the Ariane because of Trip Advisor reviews and it hasn't disappointed in any way. Reception was welcoming and professional. Our bedroom was comfortable, clean and well appointed, as was the bathroom. The bar and terrace are delightful places to unwind and as for the breakfasts, they are probably the best hotel breakfasts we have eaten.
Add in the location which is close to the town centre but is easy to get to and has plenty of free parking and the Ariane does merit the rating it has in TA

A lovely hotel just 5 minutes stroll from the main square. Room lively and clean and bed very comfortable.. Breakfast very good and a fine selection of wines beers and spirits. Good value for money and would definitely stay here again when I come back to visit.

It is not difficult to write a good review about this hotel as it is simply perfect. We stayed for just 2 nights at the end of May, but enjoyed every moment. The receptionists are delightful and we used their help and expertise to recommend a Battlefield Tour (we were collected and returned direct from the hotel) and a also to hire the hotel's bicycles, which we enjoyed for a lovely morning's cycle along the canal.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The restaurant and bar area, including the terrace and garden are lovely and the food was excellent, both for the one dinner we ate in the hotel and the breakfasts. All the bar and waiting staff were professional and friendly.
There was also plenty of space for parking in the hotel's car park and the hotel is so convenient for the town, we did not use the car once during our stay.
I hope we have the opportunity to return before too long.

The hotel and staff cannot be faulted. All of the staff are mannerly, attentive but not overbearing. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. As a Coeliac requiring a strict gluten free diet I can confirm that, over an eight day stay, the chef at this hotel prepared every meal correctly.
The hotel is situated a short walk from the main town centre and The Menin Gate, but far enough from the centre to be quiet and peaceful. There is an excellent garden and patio for relaxing drinks and meals.

The kind comments you have made relating to the food prepared for you during your stay, are very much appreciated by the chef and his team. Ensuring that special dietary requirements are met is very important to us and it's lovely to know that you found your meals to be correctly prepared and satisfying. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.

We stayed at this hotel as it was well reviewed on TripAdvisor and it certainly lived up to expectations.
Very friendly staff, excellent bedrooms accommodation, beautiful communal areas and the food in the restaurant was A1.
Throroughly recommended.
