Privately owned and operated, personal service. The staff were very helpful in sending my "forgotten clothes" , even contacted the hotel it was being sent to, made me feel very confident I was going to get my luggage back. This is the place to stay in Ieper. New rooms are great too.

Room Tip: The newly renovated top floor roms are great, but not able to look out the windows as they are in th...

I stayed here with my elderly parents for 3 nights, and can't recommend it highly enough. Superb staff, spotlessly clean and everything of high quality. Wi-fi free and easy, close to town centre, parking nearby (which is key in Ypres), breakfast. Its all understated but done extremely well.

Room Tip: I can't vouch for others but 302 is large, bright and airy and newly furbished.

Hotel refurbished to a very high standard. Rooms extremely well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately I was unable to use the hotel's car park as I needed to leave very early in the morning. Parked close to hotel but be aware that to park FOC you will need a parking disc and you can only park for up to 3 hours.

We stayed for 2 nights in The Albion Hotel & found it to be an extremely friendly, family owned hotel situated less than 5 minutes walk from the Menin Gate in the centre of Ypres.

Staffed by mature adults the service could not have been better. Information was volunteered about where to park the car, where to eat, what to see and how to get in/out after reception hours. An excellent buffet breakfast was included and I even found a huge packed breakfast outside my bedroom door on depature before breakfast hours!

The room was a good size & very comfortable (although a bit on the warm side - better than being cold!) with a decent sized shower with good pressure. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again

If you are looking to visit World war one memorials this Hotel offers everything you need. Situated in the middle of Ypres, five minutes walk from the famous gate. Terrific value for money, the breakfast will keep you going all day plus the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Enjoy the visit.

Dave and SSMCC.

Room Tip: All rooms that we were allocated were very good.

A Very well run Hotel, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, the room was very comfortable with no City noise at night, the room had everything we needed and free Wifi, right on the door step of Ypres Grotte Market and centrally placed for everyone of our needs. The Menin gate is a very short walk away, very easy to get to by car and with free parking around the church. It was a brilliant base for our Remembrance trip, we have stayed in Ypres quite a few times and this was our first time at the Albion. i would recommend it. The breakfast buffet could do with a "hot" option, although there was plenty of choice from the cold buffet.

Having stayed previously thought it would be hard to have a better experience. However, we were pleased to be in one of the newly refurbished rooms, lovely bath, walk in shower, large television screen and comfortable bed. The staff were friendly welcoming and helpful as ever and breakfast was a feast, a wide selection of healthy and tempting food, something for every taste. Can't wait to stay again!
