Communication with owners was easy, prompt replies to emails and questions. Ludo was a wonderful host and welcomed us with with lots of information about the apartment and the town. The apartment has everything a traveller needs, easy parking, close to the ramparts walk and the Menin Gate. If you're interested in WW1 history and sites it's the perfect place to base your trip.
We stayed in Wipers Times for 6 days returning last Weds. It was the best safely catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Ideal for a couple. Marie- Therese was there when we arrived and gave us an extremely warm welcome. Lots of maps, literature and advice on the local museums, cemeteries etc. The weather was glorious, so we made good use of the sunny courtyard and BBQ. Lovely bakery just mins away and a great market at our back door on Sat morning. Very well situated - walking distance to the center of town. Highly recommended.

Fabulous guest house - great location , beautifully decorated , very clean , fantastic hosts. Lots of room for friends and family. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Really nice apartment very central. Good welcome by host and lots of useful guide books etc available.
I was late arriving but the owner was charming, despite having waited for two hours. The apartment is excellent, spacious, everything was new and shiny and spotless.Just a few minutes walk from the town square where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. If I am staying in Ypres again I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
Just got back from a two night stay at Wipers Times. What an amazing place, immaculate, has all mod cons and home comforts.
This accommodation is in the heart of Ypres, near to the train station but not too close to cause a noise problem. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see.
Beds were very comfortable with extra linen if needed. Cupboards were full of cooking utensils, cutlery, everything you need to make a lovely meal if you wanted to. Towels were also provided. A lovely touch was the tea tin in the cupboard, full of loads of lovely different types of tea......important to an English person!!!!
Lots of books in the apartment so you could do some reading on the history of the area of you wish.
I would definitely stay here again....am planning to book again for next year.
Stayed for 2 weeks at the wipers times with a family of 4. We loved the modern style apartment only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Free WiFi was great and there was a bike to ride around the city. Pub next door is great too. Will definitely stay there again next time.
