“Just perfect!”

My husband and I spent the weekend at Braid Barn and can't imagine staying anywhere else on the Norfolk Broads in future. The room was beautifully decorated with fine attention to detail, the bed was luxuriously comfortable and breakfast was delicious and always served with a smile. We spent the weekend exploring the Broads by bicycle, and Braid Barn proved to be ideally situated as a base.
The local pub is the Ferry Inn, less than a mile away in Stokesby village, and we found the service friendly and welcoming and the food good.
Highly recommended!

A perfect place to stay. The owners made us feel very welcome. The buildings have been restored and finished to a very high standard. The room we stayed in was spacious, beautifully decorated and excellent attention to detail in design. A peaceful location so a good night sleep is guaranteed. I would recommend the Ferry Inn pub for food and only a mile away from the b&b. The breakfast was delicious and used locally produced food. We will be coming back to stay again. What more can I say......give this little beauty a go!

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful.

I booked a single nights stay here whilst in the area on business and I fancied a change from the usual chain hotels I normally get put in. Really glad I tried something a bit different!
Building is very nice and impressive, and as it only opened last May and the owner's redeveloped the site themselves the standard of finish is really high and it genuinely feels like you staying in a friends spare room not a faceless hotel.
Bed was very comfy, unsurprisingly due to it's rural location totally quiet, so nothing stands in the way of getting a great nights sleep.
Breakfast in the owner's kitchen but still with a profesisonal feel was great and you felt very much looked after.

Only negative - and I'm being really picky here due to the quality of the place - is they need a bit more lighting on the entrance but they are more than aware of this and I'm guessing it will be sorted really soon.

Would def stay again!

The building and surroundings of Braid Barn are stunning! The courtyard area and rooms are spotless and well provided for. Both owners are very welcoming and helpful, and the brekkie was delicious!
My only criticism would be the difficulty we had in finding somewhere nice to eat in the evening at a walking distance (as taxis are a bit tricky)... but if someone is happy to drive you are not far from some great locations.
A lovely relaxing break!

Due to my work I need to travel to a wide range of areas and stay overnight frequently so use the internet to source Boutique B & B's as I have little fondness for hotels. Braid Barn is exceptionally well finished and located. As in previous reviews the approach looks like a building site but all construction on this barn conversion has been completed and I an untroubled nights sleep in a generously sized double room with en suite (plus power shower). June is a consummate hostess and breakfast was very tasty with as much toast as I could possibly ever eat. Would highly recommend this B & B to anyone and look forward to my next trip to the area so I can revisit.

Room Tip: All rooms are great

We chanced upon this luxury B&B onine and needing to leave behind the rat race for a few days we booked Braid Barn without hesitation. Despite the ongoing renovations to neighbouring barns once inside the walled courtyard we discovered peace and tranquility, friendly welcome, good food and an excellently appointed room. The room was great, the bathroom super and parking was no problem, especially as the resident peacocks were strutting around the parking area like traffic wardens. Thank you for a great 3 day break and can't wait to visit again in the Spring!.

This is a First Class B&B within easy reach of the local attractions.
Set in the countryside this barn conversion has been lovingly and carefully constructed to the highest of standards.
There is ample and safe parking on site.
We received a warm welcome from our hosts and a Full English Breakfast was provided in their kitchen.
Rooms are modern and comfortable with all you would expect, tea & coffee making, biscuits, flatscreen TV and a well appointed and modern bathroom.
Our room had patio doors leading onto a small patio area with seating and a table.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would retunr again if we had to visit the area.
