We spent an interesting couple of hours here. Mosaics superb, and exhibits were well presented and informative.

However, for us, the best part was the interactive hands-on activities for children. Our 4 and 6 year olds spent the whole 2 hours dressed as roman soldiers, and were completely engrossed with the various activities, such as piecing together their own mosaics, re-building the villa, and doing jigsaw puzzles of a well. Our 6 year old enjoyed reading some of the exhibits for himself and was genuinely interested.

Staff were helpful and very enthusiastic.

A super excursion for a couple of hours and would certainly recommend to others.

Our expectations were high having read the leaflet and advertising for this attraction. The outside of the building was impressive but the admission price I though was a bit high for what was seen. Even though the mosaics were well preserved and impressive, you can only spend a limited amount of time there.I wouldn't visit again as I am not impressed enough for another visit.

Needing somewhere indoors due to a typical English summer day thought we'd kill an hour or so here. Four hours later and just about ready to leave.

A brilliant mixture of interactive exhibits, traditional exhibition cases and, of course, the mosaics themselves.

Got the impression that the people who work here really care, whether on reception, in the museum, in the activities area or the cafe

Thank you for a great day

Came here on a horrible rainy day. It was not recommended by the locals but with our 9 year old boy we spent three hours of looking, doing and eating here. The building that houses the museum is in itself worth a visit. All the staff were knowledgeable interested friendly and helpful. It felt like they all had an important stake in making our visit great. And it was, thank you to all the staff at this fantastic unassuming little museum.
