The food here is basic pub grub, but the experince was spoilt by the state of the toilets and the behavior of the people eating (or feeding). A group of rowdy middle aged men walked in and got served quicky so they must have been important regulars, scoffed their pies in seconds and prompty downed their pints of cider and started laughing and shouting loudly, trying to offend the people eating there. It was 2 o clock so they must have been on benefits and probably did this daily. Never again its like an alcoholics feeding trough.

Okay, this is the first time ive ever tried this place.
Admittedly i knew it could be busy and when we ordered our food we were told it would be about 20-30min wait which given it was a Friday night was acceptable.
The food quality was generally excellent and i noticed all my family left clean plates so please do not think this to be a negative review as your food quality is very high.
However, the let down comes if you need to order deserts. There should be a separate till to take the main orders and another for deserts, or at the very least the staff should ask if your require deserts when they come to collect empty plates.
I waited at the bar a good 20mins just hoping to get served, i had to give up in the end as there was no sign that any of the staff had even seen or ackmowledged me waiting there and plus if i then factor in time waiting for the deserts then we would have been looking at a good 50mins before we got them.
In the end we decided to leave with two disappointed young girls. This was to be our "end of holiday" special meal out, a last treat before going home. Its has instead set a new byword in "..it was nice but im not waiting THAT long to be served again...", which sadly reflects in the score i forced to give this place.

looking for a meal out to please everyone in our party ( two fussy eaters ) we spotted this place in a lovely village on the Isle and decided to give it a whirl.
on ordering food we were warned of a long wait (30-40 minutes ) but I would rather they did this than keep me waiting without any forewarning, We ordered, rib eyed steaks, a burger and a kids meal for the fussiest of our party and were prepared for quite a wait but were pleasantly surprised when it all turned up in half the estimated time. The steaks were yum, the burger was yum and the sausages were errrrm yum and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their chosen meal. I liked the way things were presented and it was a lovely setting to eat and the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. Would have liked to have sampled a pud but we were all stuffed to capacity by our main courses

We went to the bungle Inn one evening due to other places being packed on our holiday, We arrived and ordered our drinks and was told "it'll be 35 min wait for any food", On looking around it wasn't busy so couldn't understand the wait. However after watching others twiddling their thumbs and looking at other customers turning into skeletons from starvation.. we knew we were in for a longer wait. 1 hour and 10 mins to be precise before our food could even be eaten. When it arrived it was okay, nothing outstanding and we never got the hot bread with the pasta. We couldn't wait another hour even if we did complain for it to be cooked. Just be warned if you want food here be prepared for a long wait !
