This restaurant was the last of three we visited on our trip to Evora. It was quite a formal Portuguese restaurant with a lovely formal dining atmosphere. The starters for which they are renowned were excellent and varied, and they normally put a selection out for you which you have to pay for. However if you don't like any of them you can ask for it to be taken away, and others to be brought for you. The wine list was really good as well. When we went on a Friday evening it was full, and they were turning people away so my advice is book ahead. Our main courses were delightful, my husband had the Hare rice, which he loves and has had many times before, helpfully though they did very gently ask him if he knew it was made with the blood of the Hare, well he did but I thought it was a nice touch for them to ask. We had a nice bottle of wine and port and a very nice evening.
