We stayed here for just one night so that we could visit Evora. It was a very tranquil spot that was great for an unwind after a day looking round Evora. Lovely hosts with lots of local info to give. We stayed in one of the 2 bed/2 bath little houses. It had a very well equipped kitchen which we utilised to save some money! Although small double bed, it was very comfortable. Kids fine in their room. I would highly recommend this for a very quaint and quiet stopover, or even for a longer stay - there is much to see in the area. We were very glad that we went to see the nearby dolmans and the huge menhir - wow what a sight!

Very nice place, perfect if you need few days of relax or if you are looking for a spot to visit Alentejo region. Great location near Evora and vineyards, cosy, spacious apartments, furnished with taste and equipped with all you can possibly need. Friendly hosts - Lucia and George will take care of you.

Been here 4 days in June with my husband and our 10 year old son.
Lucia received us with a big and friendly smile. Gave us a complete folder with information about Evora and the surrounding cities which was very usefull.
If you want fresh bread in the morning you may ask the house keeper who will leave it at your door at 8am.
The apartment is small but very cosy and you don´t really need anything more. The kitchenette has a small electric stove, small fridge, a toaster and a coffee machine as well as dishes, glasses, etc
The swimming pool was near our apartment what was great for our son.
We had a great time sleeping, swimming, and even reading a book below the great trees in front of the apartment with the friendly company of the farm's 3 big dogs. They lay down with us and slept with us on the grass.

It isn't in the center of the city and you'll need a car to go there.
On the way to the city you have Continente which is a big supermarket. Great for shopping for cookies, tea, fruit, etc

I certainly recommend this place for people with children who want a friendly place for relaxing in security and near enough to the city so you can take some great walks in the lovely Evora city.

Quaint and beautiful inn outside of Evora. Lucia was very welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time exploring the grounds. Breakfast on the patio was a real treat. Apartment was spacious, but was a little cold and we couldn't figure out how to work the heater.

If you are looking for somewhere peaceful to have a good rest, this is the place. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a fireplace already fired and a very warm living room (needs to be said that it was 1º C outside). A very comfortable bed in the room, also with heating already turned on.
The place is very typical country house (of Alentejo), do not expect luxury, that is not at all the focus here. The sleep at night... this is where the true value of this acommodation is, you will not hear anything but maybe birds... The place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

Very kind welcome from Lucia. All efforts to provide us a warm reception like if we were family.
Beside we being a portuguese/american couple, Lucia realized that was better speaking english for both of us.
The apartment was clean and organized and with all amenities needed to makes us feel like we were at home.General analysis to the apartment in matter of size is that we considered big enough even to 4 people and had all the rural style in it.
kitchen equipped with all you need to make your own meals. From plates to silverware... nothing was missing. We could realize all the concerning of the owners to provide everything and we mean...everything !!!
The living room also had space enough and provided the comfort of a nice couch and two chairs with a marble table in the front. Once again some retro touch provided some style to the space and lots of comfort.
The iron wood burning fireplace (salamandra) was ready to light up the "fire in our hearts". Extra wood also ready both on inside and outside of the apartment. Tv present but ... who wants to see tv...right ???
The bedroom was awesome cause it had traditional wood furniture hand painted like is common on almost all the region of Alentejo. Once again "clean" was a excellent note for this room. It has heating and provides a very good night of sleep. The bed clothes were very clean and felt very good to go inside.
Bathroom in light colors with rural style and very clean. Shower functioning perfectly.
Oh... breakfast !!!!! Breakfast was awesome specially when you can take it outside in pjs enjoying a marvelous sun in the middle of november and guarded by two "rafeiros alentejanos". Lucia once again made an amazing work providing us a "Gods" breakfast even with pomegranate and figs of india. A freshly natural orange juice just added the energy needed for a new day. What can you ask for more ?
By the time of saying goodbye we just left with the idea of returning one day... but with a different purpose... visiting a friend !!! Women like Lucia its hard to find in tourism business.
We wish her and husband all the happiness and luck of the world.

Great welcome from Lucia the owner, fantastic scenery and huge space for the children to play in. We booked fairly late and were told we could ad to children bed in the single bedroom accomodation. For sure this was not an issue, the appartments are so huge!
Travelling with a family I am always nervous about how clean the place is, and the flat was spotless!
