We stayed here for 4 nights during October half term.
The hotel itself was very clean ! The food was fine and we enjoyed the table service snack menu on the all inclusive at lunchtime. palo the pool bar man was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a pool view room which was great, you could also see the ocean. The pool was gorgeous and there was plenty of sunbeds as it was out of season. The pool was on the cold side but we were very lucky with the weather which was fantastic during the day although chilly at night. The surrounding area was good 10 min stroll to the old town and far enough away from the strip. The land train stops right near the front of the hotel which takes you all round the whole resort. Our only negative was that due to it being out of season there was no evening entertainment and we travelled with 4 teenagers who luckkily enough were entertained by the evening bar man and playing cards with us ! 4 nights was ok any longer might of been difficult. There are shops & places to eat right near the hotel but some are shut in the evening due to low season. Overall a great value break and a hotel I would re-visit.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 week in early October. Had a room at the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor and wasn't bothered by any noise at all and I'm a light sleeper the best of times. The room itself was fine no complaints there. Distance to the old town is about a 10 minute stroll and the strip is a few minutes away on the little train that stops outside the hotel so the hotel is situated between the best of both worlds. We stayed half board and while I found the breakfast nice, the evening buffet just wasn't up to scratch. For breakfasts for the week I lived on the fresh pineapple, yogurts and pastries but I dreaded the evening meal so much so we ate out 3 nights as I couldn't face it. For example they had a meat station which was tough chewy meat sitting in trays covered in gravy and people we poking at it trying to get the best piece and on the other side of the station was the vegetable, fish and side dishes such as mac & cheese etc I witnessed several people using the fish slices to scoop up the pasta dishes, disgusting! That was just some of my gripes about the evening meal. A pint of beer is €4 in the bar which is a complete rip off, go to the local bar behind the McDonalds across the road which is only €1.50 for a pint. Over all it was fine and I would stay here again but would do b&b only.

My husband and I had a great holiday at this hotel the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The manager who had a keen eye for everything even noticed if a candle had not been lit at the table you were sitting at.I have read some other reports on this hotel where some people were not as happy as us. Personally we could find no fault what so ever with this hotel and would be more than happy to stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are better than facing the road but even so traffic was not a problem

Excellent location; near the old town and escalators up/down the cliff yet just far enough away to have "space". Loads of space for the plentiful sunbeds and fantastic pool. The indoor pool, steam and sauna great. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms lovely. The water was always scorchio. Spacious balconies BUT the sliding doors did not do much to stop the noise from the road outside - or the bottle bank/bins. Not overlooked though.

All the staff are wonderful and appear to be happy in their job. They enhance your holiday experience. Particularly the bar men of course. Sexy Paolo at the pool bar is a lively character and my favourite. Excellent coffee. The reception is very helpful and speak excellent English. The cleaners do a superb job everywhere. PRAISE all round to the hotel except in the kitchen.

The kitchen staff need to review how they do things, urgently in the case of lunch for the all-inclusive guests. There are a few issues at breakfast and dinner but they are mostly good (see my partner Keith's review). I have stayed in many 4 star hotels and the smaller hotels with lower numbers of lunch guests are better if they have one chief there on the "griddle" doing your fish/meat or past to order. There is a lot less waste and the food is fresh and cooked how you like it (not dried up coz it was overcooked an hour ago and kept warm). Deserts are often very similar all the time but there was always lots of fresh fruit or ice cream. Salad bars are always going to be fairly repetitive by nature but cold freezer "Breaded cod balls and samosas" as a entree every meal. I is NOT appropriate for this standard of hotel.

Somebody please show the breakfast staff how to cook bacon. They just throw it on in a "slab". No wonder it is fatty. That omelet slab thing - they could resurface a children's ply area with.I have never known a hotel refuse to do warm boiled eggs before. Foreign breakfast sausage I seldom like. However the rest of breakfast was good. Fruit pastries cheese, cold meats etc.

I would go back to this hotel BUT I would pay the extra for the pool view room (much quieter) and I would only go half board. The old town is so delightful day and night that I would like to have spent more time in it. We find it much cheaper generally to be all-inclusive despite me being tea total and of course much more simple.

Where those people with the terrible reviews staying I cannot imagine, at a different hotel ? I was there the same time as them and there was no building work and shower caps ?? Bizarre !

Room Tip: Book Pool View rooms - quieter and you can see the sea from most. Go half board not all inclusive i...

We stayed here for 4 nights in this hotel. Excellent Location with good restaurants near by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms nice and clean, with a balcony with table and chairs, except for location of the rooms we overlooked the parking lot at the back of the hotel. To get a room at the front or ocean view was 16 Euros extra. We were a group of 39 people, you think an effort would have been made or at the very least on a higher floor so you would not see the parking lot and hear the nice of cars moving about.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Ocean view or if at the back parking lot side ask for a room on a higher floor.
