“Lovely small hotel”
Reviewed 11 June 2012

We arrived around dinner time to find that we were not expected, mistake by travel republic but wasn't a problem, got a lovely modern room 311, big balcony and big shower. The staff were really nice. I needed to see a doctor whilst we were there and Elizabeth organised an appointment for me.
. The old town is a short walk away but wouldn't advise if you have walking difficultys, lots of steps. The restaurants here are lovely and so are the people.
Beach is beautiful but take care as lots of crushed shells that can cut your feet.
Will definatly go back as we missed a lot because of the flu.
An all round lovely quiet hotel :)

Just returned from a lovely short break at the Vila Sao Vicente. What can i say., From the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was excellent. This hotel is a relatively small hotel, not a large corporate one catering for the masses. The location is hard to beat. Perched on a cliftt top looking out over the spectacular Fisherman's Beach in Albuferia and about a two minute walk into the lovely Old Town. Saying that you would never know you were so close if was so quiet. A sea view room is an absolute must. The hotel is immaculately clean. Our room was beautiful. Twin beds, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a lovely bathroom. We were on the second floor room 301. The hotel is exactly as it is shown in all the photo's you see on all the websites. No need for them to stage any rooms. The quality and standard is second to none. The hotel has a lovely breakfast come bar area. Breakfast was continental style. Cereal, breads, assorted meats, cheese, preserves, fruit, yoghurts, variety of juices, tea and coffee. You can either sit inside or outside by the lovely pool. The service is very good. Unlike alot of larger hotels you are a very welcome guest. Nothing is too much trouble. We only stayed three nights, but would have loved to stay longer. On our last day we had to check out by 1pm, but were offered a shower room and changing facilities. This is certainly a place i would return. If you are looking for a lovely small Portugese hotel this is most certainly one to be looking at. Excellent. For a lovely evening meal please see my review on Casa Fonte. .

Room Tip: A sea view room is worth paying a little extra.

Charming small hotel in Albufeira old town on the cliff top. Staff welcoming. Room compact and bathroom very small, but both very clean. The sea view room has a small balcony and wonderful views over the beach. Buffet breakfast freshly made and well presented each morning with the usual European cold meats, cheese, breads, yoghurt and fresh fruit as well as boiled eggs. Breakfast is available either inside the dining room or outside at the pool area where there are also sun loungers available for use throughout the day.

Room Tip: The rooms at the front of the hotel catch the late afternoon sun when it has moved away from the poo...

Lovely hotel and such a find. Booked a short break last minute and saw this was really close to the old town and it most certainly was which was great. I would recommend a Sea View room as the views were amazing. Hotel is so quiet in the day and at night which was lovely and very relaxing. Hotel arranged collection from Airport whIch was very stress free.
Will be returning in the future and so glad we found.

Room Tip: Sea view amazing

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Town and a few steps to the lovely beach. It is extremely well maintained with beautifully decorated rooms which have been recently decorated with modern facilities. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed daily. Continental breakfast adequate and in good weather nice to have breakfast on the lovely terrace at the poolside, overlooking the sea.

Room Tip: Ask for room with sea view - worth the extra charge

Couldn't fault this lovely little hotel. Beautifully furnished throughout, it had a lovely feel to it. I have never stayed in a hotel which was so quiet during the night and had it not been for the occupant of the room next door who snored and snored and snored extremely loudly all night and every night, it would have been perfect! Nice breakfasts, friendly staff and a great location made this a perfect choice for our stay in Albufeira - with a beautiful sea view thrown in! The only very small gripe - have to pay for wi-fi but the many plus points of this cosy hotel outweighed this minor disappointment. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Well worth paying for a sea view!
