This is a lovely, 26 room hotel within 5 minutes walk of the town square and just a few minutes from the beach. It has a very peaceful, quality feel to it. The best rooms are the sea view rooms as there can be noise from regular passing traffic if in the land view rooms although they are still quite acceptable. The hotel seemed to have listened to clients comments and now offer free Wifi throughout the hotel which is great. The next upgrade they could improve on, is to provide tea/coffee making facility in the rooms. The rooms are 'compact' in size, but adeqaute, although the bathrooms (showers only) are quite tight and definately only for 1 person at a time.
Breakfasts is limited but fresh and includes: museli or cornflakes, yoghurts, mixed breads and toast, cheese and ham, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, fruit juices, tea and coffee. Items are replenished as required i.e. only 2 boiled eggs or 2 toast at a time! As other guests have said, there is an issue with sunloungers as there are only 12 sunloungers to cater for 52 guests at full capacity. On request, we were offered changing facilities on our last day, but this was dark, cold, creepy, shower room in the basement amongst all the storage facilities. For a hotel of this standing, I would have expected a guest room to be offered to all guests to shower and change. This lets the hotel down very badly and needs to be changed immediately, otherwise it may deter guests from booking again.
During the summer months, it is sunny until about 4pm on the terrace but during the winter months there is no sun after 2.30pm and after 1pm on the sea view balconies. The land view rooms get late afternoon sun.
Overall, a good hotel and I would recommend but room for improvement if they want to ensure clients return.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have the best views.

Good, quiet location in Old Town...only about a 5 minute walk to the restaurant / nightlife, but it is directly across the street from an abandoned building (our unfortunate view) Balcony / outside seating was nice. Pool was great. Had to pay for WiFi which was a bit strange for this day in age. Parking is available at the hotel, but it is VERY tight...be careful pulling rental cars in / out. Beach was just okay...I was expecting a bit more. Very crowded in the end of September. Lots of fun rentals for water activities though (paddle boats with slides!?)

As for restaurants, they try hard to sell you at the door for mediocre / expensive food. We found Alfredo's to be very good with great service. Rock bar was fun for nightlife if you're not into the club scene.

Room Tip: Go for the water view if you plan on spending time in your room. Street view is awful!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in a great location about 5 minute walk to the tunnel and all the bars and restaurants there.

Very clean and good sized room with a great view of the pool Old Town and the beach and ocean.

Good breakfast with a choice of cereals breads cold meats and fresh fruit.

The only downside was the number of sunbeds poolside. There were never enough but to be fair the pool and the area around it are small.

Room Tip: Book a room with a sea view as the others overlook the street and can be noisy.

This hotel is very well situated for albufeira far enough away from town not to be noisey, but only a few min walk, beach on your door step lovely views if you have a sea view room, staff nice enough, hotel is not huge which I liked but you will still need to be quick if you want a sun bed on terrace, breakfast not to bad very fresh, the only real gripe I have is the WiFi situation at a cost of 5 euro you can have the WiFi code this code only works in the lobby and breakfast room it does not work on the terrace or you room which was a little frustrating especially when our tv kept breaking. Overall we had a lovely stay and if you wanted to be in old town albufeira this is the place to be staying in.

A very pleasant 4 day stay, with attentive staff and a an excellent breakfast each morning. The Hotel was clean, the room spacious and apart from the usual ignorant fellow guest banging and crashing around at 3 a.m, the experience was superb. The Hotel is well away from the strip and so very quiet. Air con worked well and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast option was continental but included eggs. I'm not sure what else could have been provided for those wanting more? Didnt use the pool but it looked inviting. Short walk to the beach and to plenty of restaurants. If i go back to Albufeira then i would stay here again.

Room Tip: Had a room on the third floor, overlooking the street. No traffic noise.

Stayed here in September 2013 with friends. The hotel is well placed to explore the delights of Albuferia which we had not visited before. Breakfast was good but perhaps not with an expansive choice. The view from the hotel patio looks along the beach and to the East. We sat and enjoyed the sunshine for a couple of days whilst we were there - in September though the sun does not light the patio/pool area after 2.30ish in the afternoon. The pool is small but clean. Snacks are available on the patio and we found the drinks there to be reasonably priced. Our room faced the street and although small was ok as a sleepover base.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool area are probably quieter at night.
