Have visited many times during the day and in the evenings a fantastic location fresh fish served by portion not weight so excellent value for money very good wine list has one of the best sunset views in the algarve child friendly right on the beach so they also provide take away to take back to sun beds etc.

“Nice beach location”
Reviewed 19 September 2013

Nice food with fast service (a little too fast); nothing to write home about though!
Get the Sangria, it's the best we've ever tasted!

“Amazing setting!”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Recently visited this restaurant on the full moon beach party night. Beautiful views and atmosphere-beach and surrounding paths lit with candles as the sun set. Food was delicious. We ordered scallops to start with and tuna for main, washed down with a lovely bottle of rosé. Not the cheapest of nights out, but reasonable when you consider the quality of food and service. Only negative is the bathroom could be maintained better. You have to use the same toilet used by beach guests all day. By night, the toilets are flooded and in need of a clean. Beach bar attached to restaurant is also worth a visit for a salad and white wine at lunchtime!

“Traditional portuguese, nice view”
Reviewed 19 August 2013

Fresh fish every day, very nice shellfish cataplana, try the traditionnal clams with garlic and coriandre (my personal favourite), good choice of wine and tasty sangria. Great terrace with very beautiful views of the ocean.

“View goes on for ever..”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

Been using Pd'G regular since 2008.
Excellent views, good service. Local folk use this, so you are assured it should be good. Better when the Lisboans go back home..

Excellent fish and meat dishes. Had my very first Piexe soupe here, best soup i ever had, they've never been able to repeat it, shame. Mano d'dei.

But everything we've had has been consistently good, never had any problem. Even made up specials for Mrs Jagar, who is a fussy vegetarian. always good, and the service is pukka.

Lovely to wander in in the afternoon and have a jug or 2 of sangria also. Recommend.
