Small family run hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent facilities & great food.
Pleasant bar with good evening entertainment . 10 minutes to Albufeira Old Town on foot. Excellent bus & taxi services if you wish to avoid the steep hills on return.Discovered some very quiet and appealing beaches close by. Some guests have been returning for many years and it is highly likely we will go again. No negatives in my view, great value!! Transfer from Faro is easy.

Was more than a little worried before going to this hotel as so many of the more recent reviews were so bad. In fact contacted First Choice head office to change hotel. They contacted the local rep who reported that she had had no complaints - so we went and very glad we did!
On arrival check in was done quickly and as it was only 11:30 our room was not ready but we could leave our cases while we enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the dinning room full English or continental choice was yours.
By 12:15 our room was ready and we were personally taken to it. We had paid extra for a sea view and what a view it was right over the bay and the town. Fantastic. Had a lovely balcony with chairs and table.
Rest of the accommodation was spacious and very clean, but was a bit dated.
However you did get a 32" Sony Bravia TV with all the main English channels.
The Hotel is quite quirky but we quite liked that. Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds.
All-Inclusive guests were treated exactly the same as the others. All staff were friendly and helpful. In truth I cannot fault this hotel although from other posts many did. Its not a big all singing 4 star affair but a very nice small hotel that does all it can to look after its guests.
Its location is very good good. and the town and beach only 5 minuets walk away.
The First Choice rep Debbie was particularly helpful.
So, in conclusion we were worried about going to this hotel but very glad we did and will definitely return next year.
.

Room Tip: We had room 11 which was a bit on its own. Very quite at night. Great sea views.

Have just returned from a ten night stay at this little hotel with it's numerous nooks and cranny's.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and found the food to be of a reasonable quality with a reasonable choice. i.e bacon, sausage, egg, beans, as well as a variety of cereals, cold meats, bread/rolls etc. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel so can't comment on that although we did chat to one or two who were there "all inclusive" and had nothing positive to say!!!
Drinks in the bar area were reasonably priced and there was entertainment provided.
Our room which overlooked the local primary school (there is a high school towards the back end of the hotel) had a gorgeous sea view. We didn't mind the laughter of the kids playing in the playground.
Our room was a little small and the balcony had little room for more than a table and two chairs. So it is perhaps worthwhile stating that you require a larger room.
Pool area was clean with quite a few loungers.
All in all we were satisfied with this hotel and the level of service and would not hesitate to recommend to those who are looking for a quick getaway from the gloom of the British weather. My advice would be to stay B and B. The old town of Albufeira which is a quick five minutes walk downhill (more coming back) has numerous little bars and restaurants selling good food at reasonable cost. Don't line the tour operators pockets by going all inclusive. Support local business and have a more enjoyable holiday experience.

Worst hotel we have ever been in, food shocking, cats every where even lying on reception desk, pool area and allowed to run about hotel. Service for All-inclusive shocking, they made us feel like scroungers. There attitude was terrible, it was like being served by the glums. Sea view was looking out to car park and school, cars dropping and collecting children, also buckets emptied in the small hours. We spent our holiday money on eating out and taxis. Please take the comments on board, as this hotel would be your last choice not first.

I would recommend this Hotel for its overall value as our party was on an inclusive package and we were not tempted to dine out durning our week's stay as the variety and quality of food was good. The only caution was the steep walk on return from the beach or the town, but entertainment was provided nightly in the hotel lounge.
