We stayed here for a short break (3 days) in late Feb early Mar. The apartment was clean and tidy although very dated. We arrived at 09:30 on our first day but were not allowed to access the All Inclusive until 12:00 when we had to go back and get our wrist bands. The apartment was not ready and again we had to go back at 15:00 to get the key for this. The buffet was a very limited choice and not a great standard. We were told that we could not have lunch on the friday if we wanted it on Sunday. As our flight back was late in the day we chose this option. However on Sunday we went for lunch we were refused as we had to go back to hand in our room key and wristbands. We chose not to and went back to the poolside bar to have some more drinks and snacks (Crisps & chess sandwiches). Needless to say we spent a lot of the three days there off site at local bars (not what I expect from an AI hotel).

Can't comment on studios as we stayed in Hotel complex.

Paid £375 for 5 days for 2 people, B&B with Jet2

As with most people who read reviews with TripAdvisor, we did travel with a bit of trepidation!

Arrived midday and yes, was told check in would be a couple of hours. Cases locked away, we went for a wander to find food and drink while waiting. Plenty of choice on site but a bit more expensive than town.

We were finally allowed to our room at 2.00pm. Straight through the main hotel doors, room 603. WOW!

I mean WWOOWW!! Stunning! The magnificent panoramic vista was amazing! In the brochure it was described as a Side sea view hotel room. This was a an aparthotel. Facing south across the atlantic ocean and sweeping to the west along to Albuferia itself.

Complete with 1 bedroomed apartment and accompanying kitchenette. Microwave. Toaster. Kettle and 4 ringed oven. Dining area as well as living room complete with 2 TVs. We chose B&B as we already planned to eat out, but breakfast was not to our liking. Quite blanned and very dry. This was the only let down, but only ate on the last day anyway.

I have read some really bad review on here regards the studios but this room was spotless! Cleaned daily with fresh towels etc.

Staff were exemplary and very helpful when required. The hotel is quite literally on the beach. A short walk to Albuferia to the west, or the same distance to Oura (the Strip) to the east.

The beach is not the white sands of the Costa Blanca (due to being made of sand and broken shells). When I say shells, I mean millions of them. A shell collectors paradise. Would keep the kids happy for weeks!

Pool kept clean unless the irish where having a shindig (cans & bottles left strewn around), plus indoor heated swimming pool. Free wifi in common room/bar and plenty of on site shops.

All in all, fantastic. Would we go back? Absolutely. Already planning to.

Any further questions, just ask.

Room Tip: email or call ahead and ask for room 603 for spectacular views

Run down is understatement reception area poor, looks like a cow shed, many bars not used any more, the only bar was underground "cave", mouldy, smokers outside often foggy with smoke ,pool area poor : cheese/ham sandwitch snacks,4 parasalls one broken, deck chairs poor, might as well sit on the concrete, two resyurant chioce`s take it or leave it! no ice cream(anywhere) even for the kids, had to ask for release key for jelly`s ,(locked up) one grill one toaster, for breakfast , have to wait 45 min`s to brown, this not for us peanuts holiday saved for many months to go, wished we had stayed at home, good 20 min walk either way to old/new (strip) town. only one key per room, so keep together, only on english speaking channel (9) this four s*** rating?? all comments correct,, please read the reviews!.
ONLY POSSITIVE : LOVELY BEACH NEARBY

Room Tip: The higher you are in main block the better the view, but floor layout is confusing , resturant on 8th floor, reception on 6th floor, swimming pool on first floor , not aware whitch floor untill check in.

pool area was very tidy the pool bar area dirty and bathrooms stunk. food by the pool was buggers and chips and did the job. was booked on all inclusive but decided to eat out on all 3 nights as food wasnt nice at all.
food was clean ish, bedroom ok... bathroom needed alot of TLC. staff were polite.
Drink on inclusive was watered down and flat.
Location to beach was great and a nice walk to livilery areas which suited us better.

This resort is a bit run down, don't do the all inclusive as the food was awful, and no choice, the rooms/ apartments, tired looking, although they seem to be trying, our apartment was a studio, we had a single hotplate, 1 frying pan and 2 saucepans no kettle ( you could hire 1 for 20 euros) there are no hairdryers, there was a small bar of soap in the bathroom that as soon as you got it wet it crumbled in to tiny pieces it was not replaced. The only place you could get a drink during the day was at the pool bar,all beer was cans and you were given a plastic cup and all other drinks were served in plastic cups, lemonade coke etc came out of bottles so was a bit flat, coffee tea etc. out of vending machines despite there being coffee machines behind the bar, and what came out the vending machine looked and tasted like dishwater, in the club/entertainment room was the same plastic cups vending machine, and mould all over the ceiling, there was another bar area but it wasn't open, the apartments are a little way away from the bars/pool area, there was a thin film of something on the top of the water in the pool, and I don't think the tables were wiped all the time we were there, the bar actually ran out of beer 2 days on the run.
The location of this resort is great 20mins stroll to the old town either on the beach or along the road and 20 min stroll to the strip and the view from the balcony was the sea,the balconies had usual furniture as well as a static umbrella that was a bit in the way,
If you do go to this resort you can get a great English breakfast at the Sky Sports bar (Laura is the English cook and Cilla is the waitress) just up the road and a very reasonable evening meal in Panacee, the first restaurant you come to on the right
