Just got back from a 4 day break for two people, all inclusive 4 star and like others went with an open mind after reading previous reviews. Arrived on 6am flight from Birmingham, so was at the hotel for 10,30am to be told we couldn't check in until 3pm furthermore, use all the inclusive facilities until midday, which was a shock!! Especially as hotel was busy and hot..
Hotel is in need of a facelift but when booked in the room, it was large clean and had an amazing view of the beach. The food was plentiful but fairly bland at times and catered mainly for the french, the inclusive bar was limited with basic spirits and only canned lagers, no draft! That said,we had a great break and the beach is lovely with a 10 minute walk along to reach the old town which is worth visiting. Especially the SHALOM 2 bar grill ..

Room Tip: highly recommend 4 star apartments however unable to check in until 3pm so if arriving on early flig...

I stayed with two girls in this hotel and had a fabulous holiday! the location is absolutely perfect its in the middle of everything, old town and new town. its literally on the beach all you have to do is get the lift downstairs walk some steps and boom! your walking on sand lol the sand is HOT so be careful, and the sea is ICE but its perfect as its extremely hot weather. The workers are nice but not tooo friendly as they just want to seem to work and have no time for small talk which is alright i guess, but once you get talking they all really nice. dont be afraid to ask for extra pillows and things like that as if you dont ask you dont get. rooms are cleaned everyday with new towels. we stayed in apartment blockC 3* and it was very spacious and we had a sea view. We got lucky with the room as it was extremely spacious and perfect for 3 girls who always needed the extra space. We had half board which was breakfast and dinner no drinks, if you have inclusive its everything and you can have alcohol whenever whatever time lol. the buffet its good mix of everything got everything you'll need. overall this holiday was perfect! the location was just amazing, 10minutes walk to old town and new town. its a good choice for anyone not just families or couples but for everyone.
P.s do water park splash and slide its totally worth it.

First impressions were poor. Plastic seats and tables hotel foyer very grubby. We were put in a seperare block away from main building up a slight hill. Not convenient for all inclusive as itsca good walk back and forth. No sea view as requested. Food terrible drinks terrible. Tea/coffee from a machine tastes disgusting. Poolside food is chips or burger thats it. Please avoid.

great room with sea views and large balcony, plenty of food choice and hot food at all mealtimes with plenty of salad and fruit, bread and cheese so you could never be hungry. right on the beach, a short walk from the town of Albufiera along the beach for nightlife and restaurants. very good staff.

Room Tip: ask to stay in the apartment blocks

I was a bit concerned to say the least about staying here after reading many of the reviews.i would say this hotel is far from perfect but it is nowhere near as bad as others have said in my opinion.on arrival we was given an awful apartment but we was moved to a much nicer one as soon as we complained-i found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful and have no complaints on that score.the resort is perfectly situated for a short stroll to the beach and also for good access to both the old town and the strip(15 minutes walk or a taxi ride costing 5 euros).
My main issue was with the food and i wouldnt recommend going all inclusive as it wasnt a great choice of foods to eat.
The apartments although very basic were very clean and towels/linen were changed twice in the week we was there so there is no complaints with that whatsoever(could have done with a kettle though!).overall i would stay here again and i think you definitely get what you pay for-very basic but clean and perfectly situated

Our family of eight including two Grandchildren aged 3yrs and 8mths stayed on a half board basis from July 8th to 15th 2014. we had three apartments in block m. two cots were supplied free and already in apartment. The apartments were cleaned and the towels changed regularly. The food was satisfactory but the dining room was like a sauna at night, and the selection of alcohol was limited. Check in was at 3pm, and we had to pay a 20 euro deposit for a kettle, which seemed a bit odd since the other utensils were already in the kitchen. Day time and evening entertainment was in French, but the kids pools were good. The staff were all cheery, helpful and friendly, apart from reception who were a bit dour. We had a really good family holiday at a reasonable price.

We flew home on 11th August 2014 and can't believe that we stayed at the same hotel as some of the other people who have written reviews about it. We are a family of four two adults two girls aged 8 & 9.
We stayed in the hotel itself and found the rooms very spacious and clean. It was cleaned daily and clean towels and sheets were given when requested. We were initially given a room that was next to games room and the noise was terrible. We did get moved but had to spend two nights in noisy room and ended up getting low cost holidays involved to sort it out. That was my only grumble with the hotel they should have moved us quickly when we complained to them initially.
The food at the hotel was good we all ate different things every meal time but there was always something that appealed. We found the staff polite and friendly but we were polite and friendly to them which helps.
The hotel is a little shabby in places and I heard complaints about the 3* apartments from guests staying in them. We mainly used the small pool area and the retaining wall could have done with a lick of paint. However, the sun loungers were sound the toilet there was kept clean.
Our children made friends and spent hours in the pool. We paid £860.48 for four of us to stay in the hotel not including flights and felt we got value for money.
The café on the beach that is used in lots of hotel marketing photos (red chairs and umbrellas) is not part on the all inclusive package. If you want to eat and drink at this café you have to pay so if you are using the beach you have to walk up a little bit further to pool bar if you want a drink.

Room Tip: Avoid 416 Sea view rooms will be quieter
