We have just got back from the Natura and had a great time. The staff were all friendly and the apartments are in a handy location within walking distance from the strip and the beach but also not too noisy. The pool is lovely although it was freezing cold, and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols.

There were 5 of us in 3 rooms, we had emailed requesting ground floor pool view rooms but unfortunately we only got one pool view room, with all rooms on the first floor. We did ask the next morning if we could move but were told that all the rooms were full. However we didnt arrive until midnight due to delays so can assume that the rooms were allocated on a first come first served basis which cannot be helped.

The rooms were clean and relatively modern, the kitchen had all facilities required and was well equipped with cutlery etc. Just be aware that all rooms have twin beds so if you are a couple you may want to push the beds together. The beds arent particulary comfortable but bearable for a week. They are currently also installing air con in the rooms.

Overall we had a fab holiday and would recommend the Natura to anyone

This was a typical 3 star hotel, pretty basic but very clean. I stayed here for 5 nights in April 2010 with my husband and a couple of friends. Our bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage space. Had a lovely big balcony which was a proper sun trap in the afternoons. The kitchen and bathroom were pretty dated but the shower was really powerful. ( Had 1 occasion where the hot water ran out for about an hour). Also had a problem in the kitchen where by if we tried to put the oven and microwave on together it would trip the fuse. I wouldnt have thought it would be easy to make a nice evening meal in the kitchen with the appliances but it was fine for breakfast and lunch. We had a lovely big fridge which stored lots of food and drink!
The pool was really peaceful and there were always plenty of sunbeds. The water itself was FREEZING but its always nice to cool down after a few hours in the sun anyway.
The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and most of them spoke really good English so no major communication problems.
The hotel itself is located about a 10 min walk from the strip and about a 5-10 min taxi ride from the Old Town and about half an hour from the airport. There are a couple of local supermarkets which can be quite pricey but stocked everything you would need. Also if you forget your beach towel like we did and have to buy one dont think you can just pick one up for a couple of Euros, we paid 10 Euros for ours and that was the cheapest we could find.
The hotel is also about a 10 min walk from the nearest beach. Went there for a walk one day but we much preferred it by the pool.
The snack bar at the pool was what you'd expect i.e toasted sarnies, pizzas etc and a cocktail of the day! Drinks were rather pricey and 2 cans of soft drinks came to just over 4 Euros. There was also a pool table in the bar and a separate games room but we didnt go in there as it was too sunny! In the bar was also the internet which was 1 Euro for 10 mins. Was quite slow on some occasions but on others worked perfectly fine.
Over all we were really pleased with the hotel for the money we paid. I would definitely stay there again as it met all our needs on this holiday.

We stayed at Natura Algarve Club ( this is the actual name not Natura Beach & Sun Club).

The accommodation are Studios and One bedroom Apartments so I think TripAdvisor needs to reclassify the Natura under Speciality Lodging or B+B / Inns where it will probably rate even better.

We are a couple with an 8 month old baby and it was our first holiday as a family so we were initially anxious about the accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Natura. It was quiet and relaxing, just what you wish for with a young baby. They provided a travel cot although in the end we pushed the 3 beds together and put baby in the middle which worked better.

We had a nice welcome on arrival, the room was ready, initially we were given a 2nd floor room (3rd floor if you're American!) with a car park view but on request this was changed to ground floor pool view which was much fanatstic! The rooms are spacious and a studio was more than adequate for us. The seperate kitchen had a washing machine that was a nice suprise (take your own detergent), microwave, fridge, coffee machine, electric cooker and oven plus utensils. The rooms were cleaned daily by very polite staff.
The location of the Natura is down a small hill close to a main road so its a pretty quiet environment, the strip is a 10 minute walk and the old town (where we spent several evenings is the other side of town) - we had a car for the week so this wasnt a problem for us. But there is a good Portuguese restautarant (Beira - the one down the slope - try Cliff Richard's white wine!) and supermarket within 2 minutes walk (although cheaper and better options are a short drive away). There is a beautiful beach that is a 15 minute walk.

The staff are very helpful with local information and advice - special mention to Fred.
They let us use their own wifi in the lobby. The snack bar has a good range of drinks and a pool table, satellite TV. TV in the rooms is a limited to local channels so tka e afew DVDs for your laptop if you are planning any early nights in!

We would stay here again especially since they are installing air conditioning in the rooms which would be most welcome in the hotter summer months.
If you stay here get a poolside room, it is worth it.
My only criticism is that the safe in the room was broken but the rooms are secure enough and we used the shutters at night over the windows.

We got a great deal through holidaynights for the 6 days.
Beware of the tourist trap restaurants in the old town, poor food, get Freds recommendations and also try Taco - excellent Mexican in the old town.

Service by all staff was brilliant, the rooms are large, nicely decorated and clean.
Pool and grounds kept immaculately.
Quiet location but close enough to the "strip" if you want lively.
We were treated like family, a real home from home

Stayed for 2 weeks at the end of September 2009. Found the apartments very clean and the rooms very spacious. We were self catering and was surprised how much was available for us once we got there. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven, cutlery etc etc.

Stayed on the bottom floor so our balcony was right on the pool which was great. Pool area very clean but the hotel was half empty when we were there so very quiet.

The location is OK but we found ourselves wanting to visit the old town most nights which is a 10 min bus ride away. There are quite a few restaurants and bars around the apartments but as I said we preferred the old town which had more to offer and was a little more Portuguese. We found the area of the apartments was very British and they certainly catered for British tastes.

Overall though a very good holiday and I would definitely recommend the Natura to anyone who wants the best of both worlds, relaxing during the day and going out at night.

We've just returned back from a weeks stay in the Natura. We left on the 19th September and the weather weas brilliant for the entire time! Changed on the last day as we were leaving so I reckon we caught the last of the summer season!
I was pleasantly surpised that the rooms in the Natura were exactly as described and photographed on their website - http://www.naturaalgarveclub.com/en/club.php.

Everything was always kept clean and despite the notice in the bathroom stating we would get cleans towels three times during our visit I think they did it everyday! The beds were always made up and everything tidied away...even our washing in the sink was done on the first day!

The staff were friendly and willing to help although the language barrier got in the way a couple of times - nobody's fault just how it is!

The swimming pool was always clean and all the beds arranged and sorted in time for the next morning! The pool was freezing first thing so we tended to wait until the afternoon!

The cafe bar was always clean and tidy as well and the food plentiful and reasonable! The internet was accessible and good value at 1 Euro for 6 minutes.

The kitchen was well stocked with bottle openers, pots, pans, teapot, cutlery and all the normal appliances including a washing machine, cooker and microwave.

At the time we went there were only about 10 or so rooms being used so it was nice and chilled out and there was no mad dash to put any towels down! The balcony's were spacious and equipped with a table, chairs and a deck chair in some cases.

The only down side, for couples, is that all the rooms have twin beds.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the strip where there is a lot of nightlife, bars, restaurants and shops. There was a nice , chilled out bar with live music on the strip. I don't know the name but it had an oriental feel to it with large bhudda statues and quirky decoration.

We also ate Pizza at Senor Frogs - that was good!
We had an awesome and very reasonable chinese at a restaurant at the roundabout if you turn left att eh top of the road the hotel is on. Also along that way is another hotel with a lovely italian restaurant in it - same roundabout but go right!

The beach is about 10 minutes away down quite a steep hill but there's loads of places to eat down there as well...we had sausage beans and chips at the beach!!!

We had such a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Natura!

I really loved my holiday and so did my boyfriend. The whole complex was amazing, and the appartment was clean and tidy very spacious and fresh towels where delivered three times a week. The pool was beautiful with lush palm trees dotted around. The staff were all friendly and kind (only four full time people who all speak perfect english) it is a small quiet friendly rescort which is exactly what we wanted. A laid back quite place to chill out and relax. This is not the type of resort for hen parties or stag do ooos so be warned!!!!.Situated close to all local amenities and the strip me and my boyfriend even walking to the old town about fourty minutes away but we enjoy walking. the beach is also close about ten minutes walk.
So what more can i say? except i cant wait to go back!!!!
ENJOY
