We booked this holiday through Low Cost Holidays based mainly on the reviews on this site and we weren't disappointed. The villas are spacious, airy, very well equipped and comfortable. I liked where our villa was situatedThey if we were nearer to the pool we would have had less privacy and it could have been noisy at times. As it was it was a mere minute to get to the pool so not exactly taxing! The private gardens are beautifully maintained with a huge barbeque built into each one. They sell charcoal and all the gubbins at reception along with all the basics - bread, milk, coffee, bacon, eggs etc. And wine and beer!
Town is a 15 minute walk a way with the Strip with its bars, restaurants and souvenir shops and the first road off the roundabout is full of more restaurants. Old town is very pretty but not within walking distance in my opinion - a taxi from the villas is about six euros though.
Here is somewhat posher - lovely shops and bars and a thriving night life with all sorts of street entertainment especially in the main square.
We also took a walk to the marina with its super yachts and yes more bars and restaurants!
Back to Pinheiros - the local white sandy beach is about a 15 walk away with bars shops and water sports. Our two (16 & 18) had a go on the inflatable sofa - 30 euros but for 15 minutes very good value.
The restaurant by the pool is great selling everything from ice cream to breakfasts to really nice restaurant quality food. Reasonably priced too - our first night we had meals and wine and beer for 65 euros! Not bad
The pool is just the right size and beautifully clean.
The villas are swept through daily with clean towels and beds made. They come quite late though be warned - you might be in when they come which can be awkward for teenagers to deal with!
They do provide tea towels but no dishcloth or scourer or dishwasher tablets or fairy liquid etc so might be worth taking some with you.
We had a fantastic time and I wish I was still there! A posh holiday for an unposh price!

Room Tip: We liked the villas further a way from the pool with great views of the countryside, Albufeira and t...

Chose these villas as looked lovely and had great amenities. On arrival found this to be true. The villas are roomy and airy and we'll equipped with TV, washing machine, dishwasher,.air con, bathroom and downstairs toilet.

The pool area is clean with plenty sun beds and the small restaurant is convenient and open 9am til 1am.

It is a bit of a walk to the neatest shops and restaurants in Santa Eulalia but only takes about 15 mins. The beach is about a 10 min walk down a track and some wooden stairs then across the road and down another road. Worth a visit as clean and not crowded.

Old town is about a 30 min walk or 6 euros roughly in taxi. We walked there and got taxi back.

We ate out every night and averaged 65 euros for 4 of us. Lobed D Gancho (down a side street but José stands on main street to tell you about it. Please try it and don't ignore him), Riberios and Ranias. All in Santa Eulalia. Go left at end of road from villas and left again and shops and restaurants down that road.

We went to Slide and Splash twice and it looks.like the best water park.

All in all great holiday and would recommend these villas.

We have just returned from an 8 night stay here and I would highly recommend it! I saw it on booking.com last year but didn't book it because it was brand new with no reviews, this year the reviews are here and they are very accurate! We went with a 5 year old and a 7 year old, both really enjoyed it!

The villas are lovely, very spacious, immaculate, nice gardens. We had villa S, I would recommend this one as its close to the pool and beside the play park so you can sit in your garden and watch your kids play. The villas are equipped with everything you need and are cleaned every day with fresh towels if you need them. The Bar/ restaurant serves good, and very reasonable food and drinks, much cheaper than at the beach! The reception shop is well stocked although more pricey, as you would expect. The pool was very cold and is not heated, but it is still the start of the season and the kids had wetsuits.

We hired a car in the uk, via Holiday Autos and I would not recommend doing this. There were loads of hidden charges when we picked it up, admin charges, motor way charges, it ended up being very expensive! As someone else has already stated, the villa isn't that easy to find without sat nav and took us hours of stressful driving. I would recommend organsing a private transfer to and from the Airport and hiring a car at reception or in town, where they offer good deals. We also only really used the car to go to the supermarket or the Old town as everything else is fairly accessible and we really enjoyed the walk down to the beach, over rough terrain.

We really liked the location as it was more peaceful and beside a great beach. Albuferia strip is a bit tacky and full of 19 year olds. We much preferred the old town or just hung out at the beaches.

All in all would definitely recommend this place, we are hopefully going to return!

The 2 story townhouses are well built and set in lovely gardens with swimming pool and an on-site bar/small restaurant. They are spacious and each one has a small patio / lawn area and outside BBQ. The complex has only been open for a year or two so everything is still very new.
Each has a full sized kitchen equipped with every imaginable gadget - BUT ! no instructions are provided - on how to use any of them! - so getting them to operate correctly is a matter of lucky chance!
Reception is open 24 hours and sells basic supplies like milk and bread. We were surprised that the units don't provide ANYTHING in the way of starter pack (not a tea bag or drop of washing up liquid or a sponge) - not having to immediately shop would make a difference of you have just driven from Faro after a late flight!!

Beware , the units are NOT where services such as booking . com describe them (i.e Brejos - which is at least 5 kms away!!) the nearest beach is Santa Eulailia, the nearest landmark is the Quinta Da Balaia roundabout, DO NOT try and drive from Faro in the dark on arrival without a Sat Nav !! It took us hours to find it and only then because the receptionist , Grace, (Graca) guided us in by phone. we almost gave up, deciding just to find a hotel!!
As many others have mentioned the shortest way to the beach is across rough country, (not that bad as long as you are reasonably fit!) ,but if you have a car, there is plenty of parking at the lovely Santa Eulalia beach which has great cafes and restaurants
The units are cleaned daily and the staff are very pleasant (especially Grace who was a great help).
The plumbing in our bathroom however emitted a dreadful stink, so bad that we exclusively used the down stairs toilet! - We did report it , but only a spray from "fresh-air resulted! NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
A previous review said there were many English language TV channels - we could only receive 1 - CNN !!! really boring!!
Being early in the year, the pool which looks great but is unheated did not hold much appeal !

You really do need a car as the Supermarket is a long walk away and tough if you get a lot of shopping.. Our advice would be to get a shuttle to and from the airport and then get reception to get a hire car locally the next day - not at all expensive

We did enjoy our stay very much, despite my negative comments , many of which problems could be fixed and the resort made truly 5 star

Room Tip: As far as we could see, all the units are identical -, so all seem good

We have just returned from a weeks holiday here and it was fantastic. The villa was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The gardens and grounds are very well maintained. The pools are great (if a little cold - but makes you keep moving!!) our children aged 4 yrs 9rs and 12 yrs were in them every day and loved them. The restaurant serves nice food and drinks. The reception area also sells the basics.
At a four year olds pace the walk down the rough track to the beach was about 20mins but in the shade so quite refreshing. There are plenty or restaurants and shops within 30mins walk. The old town is a taxi ride away.
We would all happily return and would recommend for a good chill out holiday.

This place is fantastic. All the staff are very helpful, the food in the pool bar is lovely. It`s very quiet and child friendly. The villas are spotless and the grounds are well maintained. The only problem is it`s a bit of a walk from everywhere. Would return again.
