Just returned from 6 nights in a 2 bedroomed apartment. We were in Block 18 which is definitely the best block in the complex. Our apartment was on the first floor and had 2 balconies overlooking the swimming pool (there is a pool for Block 18 only as well as the general pool). Location was superb, a short walk down to a secluded beach, with a lovely beach cafe, and not far from the main Strip. Old town is about 1 and half miles away. You could walk if energetic, but taxi is around 5 euros and if you have children with you, the tourist train is highly recommended running every 20 minutes until fairly late at night.

The apartments themselves are great, very spacious and clean. There are a few minor negatives, with the most important being the lack of an oven if you are planning on cooking. We like to eat out a few nights but also enjoy a few home cooked meals. Unfortunately the apartment only has a hob with 2 plates and a microwave. Not a train smash but important to know. The beds are also fairly hard and not particularly comfortable. Finally, the TV is a joke really. Just a small 12 inch with limited channels. As we were on holiday, we didn't need the TV much but would still have expected a resort of this quality to at least have a decent size flat screen telly (apparently you can hire them for an extra 2 euros a day). With so many bars close by showing Sky Sports, any issues for myself were resolved.

The main pool and kiddies pool area is spotless and great for relaxing (although be warned, the main pool is freezing). Pool bar is excellent, with very reasonable prices and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The only other small complaint is that there is no entertainment at night, especially for the kids. It would have been perfect if there was some entertainment or even a kids club. Didn't find any kids entertainment in the area, although if you go down to Old Town, there are some street performers and you can also hire Segways or bikes etc.

All in all, we had a lovely relaxing family holiday and I would recommend these apartments. Would definitely return.

Oh and one final thing. The Beach Caffe restaurant is highly recommended. A bit pricier due to it's location, but food is good and the view is amazing. Also great ice cream for the kids!

Just returned from a 10 day holiday and we all absolutely loved these apartments, everything is included and so spacious, we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom aprt for 2 adults and a small child. Small playground is good for children, pools were very well maintained as were gardens. The pool bar was surprisingly good food and staff very helpful and friendly. Great location for strip and old town only a 5-6€ For taxi and the taxi rank is just around the corner from the reception. Very good supermarket 2 minute walk. Beach restaurant was lovely.. Would definitely look to go back.

We spent a week in a two-bedroomed apartment at Quinta Pedra Dos Bicos on 13 - 20 April. Lovely clean, homely apartments fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine. The apartment was located across the road from the hotel and close to everything, pool, beach, shops, bars, restaurants within a few minutes walk. The Strip was about 10/15 minutes walk away. The old town was a short bus ride and when the bus stopped running at night we got the tourist train/bus back to the Strip. Prices reasonable. Wifi was a bit intermittent and some of the tv channels weren't working properly, but nothing that spoiled our holiday. Staff in the hotel very nice, and helpful. Cleaning staff were nice too - they came everyday to clean our apartment which we didn't really need. Had a lovely relaxing stay and would go again - recommended.

Room Tip: The only down side was the coaches picking up/dropping off passengers - they would leave their engines running so that was a bit noisy. We don't have little kids so not sure about facilities for them nor did we know about a fitness centre if there was one - that is why that is marked low.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this apartment as it seemed TOO cheap. We walked in and was very pleased. Nice sized bedroom with a hall and the kitchen with a dining table in its own separate room with a balcony. Barroom had a bath and was nice and clean. Staff were lovely too. Close to the beach.

When we were shown our apartment there was a 500 foot tower crane within touching distance of our balcony. When I complained that this was unacceptable it was met with a rather grudging agreement to change. As we had booked this holiday last September, it was rather galling that this apartment was even being used. As it happened, the crane was removed the following day, leaving us with a lovely quiet apartment with super views of the bay. Though this is not the hotels responsibility, the Jet2 rep was a total waste of space. She was off-hand, condescending & unhelpful. But the area & general holiday was great.
