Having just returned from a long weekend stay (a group of two couples) I can't recommend this property highly enough. The amenities are great (well equipped kitchen, modern & clean bathrooms, large bedrooms plus a good sized balcony) and the overall complex was perfect if you're looking for a quiet place to relax in the sun. The swimming pool was very clean and large enough so it didn't get overcrowded, and handily the snack bar served good value snacks from 10:00 - 18:00 daily.
A ten minute walk downhill towards the town takes you to a beautiful beach (lifeguards present - €13 per day for 2 × sun longer + parasol hire)) peppered with restaurants and bars. A further five minute walk takes you to the main square and for those wanting livelier nightlife on to the strip.
We didn't find the walk back up to the complex a problem (it was great for walking off evening meals) however those with walking difficulties would possibly struggle as one short section in particular was a little steep.
The apartment manager (Jan) lives locally and was extremely helpful in terms of providing directions and assisting with airport transfers etc.
We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay in a truly lovely apartment.

We had a lovely stay at Windmill hill as a family of four.
The apartment itself was very spacious and the views were really beautiful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including beach towels and a cleaner visited a couple of times during our stay. The balcony is great for eating on and had sun in the morning which went off about 2pm. It was great with a crawling baby as the only steps are the ones are a couple up to the aprtment. The complex itself is very well maintained with a good sized pool and a fantastic bar.
On a personal level it was disappointing that there was a noisy stag do there for a few days during our stay, the first one one of the residents had ever seen, and surprising considering we were tackled twice by the manager once to ask if we were staying there and secondly for parking a pram under the shade of a tree near the pool.
Also be prepared that as in the name you are on a hill- we quite liked the exercise but if you have a pram the main way into town/ beach involves a lot of
steps which can be avoided via a slightly longer route. The middle of the old town is quite commercialised but there are still lots of more traditional places tucked away.
