An amazing place, beautiful and full of charm and friendly people. Some great restaurants and cafes and the best ice cream ever at Chelsea.

There is some restoration taking place but some buildings are in disrepair and others are for sale. Worth seeing if you are staying overnight. It’s a one-day town.

It was quite as it was in the begging of October. The west was hot still sun beaming until 6-7 pm. I didn't expect it to be so hot still. We definitely go in October again as it is cheap. Only paid £58 rtn when booking in advance.
People are friendly lots of shops

Although Faro is a large modern city, the old town is relatively compact and is fronted by the salt marshes of the littoral. It's well kept and has interesting old buildings such as the cathedral as well as restaurants, bars and craft shops, artists areas.
