“Awesome deal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

Room 303, 70euro incl. breakfast for 2 (200euro in high season) , great location, super helpful receptionist (esp. from Ukraine), quiet, clean, modern. Yes, this was an awesome deal. In high season, it would not be cheap esp. as the room does not have a view.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 3 nights. Nice and clean, good food for breakfast and from the menu in the restaurant in the evenings. Staff were very nice and attentive. One small niggle was the lack of replenishment of tea coffee and milk in the room, (we went out and bought our own). Something to look out for, if you eat in the local restaurants, watch out for the food that's placed on the table as soon as you sit down, bread, cheese etc. It is not free and you end up with it on your bill even though you didn't order it. Overall, a great Hotel with nice staff and food in a convenient location.

Stayed 3 nights in February, the hotel is a very good location very near to train and bus station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, bread, cereals, cheese and ham.The only complaint about the breakfast is that you are only offered 1 cup of tea or coffee. The rooms are very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, shower room was also good with toiletries and lovely fluffy towels.
We found it to be very quiet.
Would stay here again if ever in Faro

This hotel has a great central location with really nice staff, but to describe it as a boutique hotel is a bit adventurous .we asked for,and was assured we had a quiet room. Not so ,noisy in and out of the hotel. The walls are thin and not soundproof ,the fittings are not standing up very well to the everyday life of a hotel room for such a new hotel.
Simple things were missing from the room that you would expect from a boutique hotel.
Breakfast was really nice with well presented fresh fruit.
So all in all neither a great nor really bad experience.

Room Tip: Try and get an interior room .

We enjoyed a brilliant weekend recently at the Aqua Ria Boutique Hotel. We booked after seeing the great reviews and were not disappointed. Wonderful friendly helpful staff, lovely spacious comfortable room, convenient location for local transport and a great restaurant. We popped into reception early on the day of our arrival (just to drop off our bags) and receptionist very kindly shifted our room booking so we could access a room earlier. We then discussed plans for our stay and were given maps with great recommendations for places to visit and attractions (segway in particular). Busy restaurant,(locals and tourists) and we did eat there both evenings as food, wines and service so good. .

Spent 3 nights here with friends to celebrate my birthday. This hotel is in a perfect location for marina and shops. The hotel is modern, really clean and all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They surprised me by putting lovely fresh fruit and a bottle of bubbly in my room. The hotel has a restaurant which is very popular lunchtime and evenings, food was lovely and they surprised me again with a slice of birthday cake and candle. Breakfast is continental with fresh fruit pasteries cereals cheese ham etc. The bus station not far so we went to villamoura one day cost 8 euro return also worth a visit. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel again.

Room Tip: We had room 206 so had a view

We recently stayed at the Aqua Ria Boutique Hotel in Faro. It is a very new hotel and the rooms are very well furnished. Huge comfortable bed and lovely en suite. The staff were very friendsly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a perfect position by the marina and a few steps away from both the Old town and the main shopping streets. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it came highly recommended by anyone outside the hotel we asked and it was extremely busy every evening - even in January! The locals were eating there which is a good sign. The only tiny downside is that our room had no view - but not a big problem. Also the lighting in the room was not good - it was very cosy, but needed a little more lighting.
