For me and my other half, top priority in a hotel is that we sleep comfortably, and this was perfectly met. Good mattress and comfortable pillows (although not at marriott level - were you get multiple pillows of all types of softness to choose from) and large king size bed, cleanness and nice odour made that possible. But this small cosy hotel scores high on location, elegance, modern furniture, Wifii and staff kindness. We stayed there 1 night on our way to spain, enjoyed the desert island and was all well worth the stop. Must say we were lucky since we found a parking spot nearby and being on a weekend was free.

We have just returned home from faro after going to the faro bike rally but decided against camping. We booked the hotel quite a while ago, & having read some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive but needn't have worried the hotel was lovely really modern had a nice comfortable feel about it. Yes we did have to put the light on in the room during the day but as I wasn't paying the electric bill I didn't mind. Our room was very quiet & had all we required for our 5 night stay. Breakfast was relaxing and the pastries etc were replenished throughout the service. The reception staff as well as chambermaids were helpful and cheerful. We chose to eat in the restaurant 2 evening's we were given a complimentary bottle of wine, as we were hotel guests, on both of the evenings. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced & service was good. The hotel was in the centre of Faro & was ideal for the evening entertainment that was held next to the port. We wouldn't hesitate to book again next year

This is a great place to stay in Faro. Almost in city centre, very clean and nice furniture. I did not eat at the restaurant as my child wanted McDonalds :-( but it looked really good. Helpful staff when checking inn as I had been robbed passports just days before. True gem in a beautiful city. As it is in the center there was some noise from the arranged places to see the world cup in football.

It is almost in city centre, very clean, very nice and helpful staff. Downstairs is good restaurant with absolutely fresh fish.
BUT!: on the third floor you can see the door with the sign - staff only, the door is not locked. When you open the door you have acces to the roof and you can fall down good few meters. We took pictures. I hope, the hotel with lock the door.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. The room was very big, with one of the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel. It's been stylishly decorated with a modern feel and plenty of space. A few added features such as a mirror in the bedroom and an extra bin etc would make it even better, but these are just fussy things. Breakfast is lovely and served on the ground floor, in the restaurant which is in the same building of the hotel. Other reviewers complemented the orange juice, we agree with! Had a meal in the restaurant one night, encouraged by the free bottle of wine voucher in our room (nice touch) and we're very pleased with our meals and the friendly service from the lovely waitress. Location wise, it's handy for the marina, taxis, buses, the tourist train, the main town and the Old Town area. Recommendations include Com Amor coffee bar for snacks and drinks, a boat trip to Ilha Deserta and visit to Praia do Faro if you're in the mood for beaching!

We stayed here for few days and loved all the setting. The hotel is new and clean, huge rooms, big bed, all very nice and comfortable. The stuff is pleasant and helpfull. We asked also for personal help and they were all so kind to us. Totally recommended!

This is a small designer hotel, centrally located in Faro, by the Jardim de Manuel Bivar, in front of the Marina in Faro, and close to both the Old town, and to the bus and railway stations.

I spent one single night in this hotel, at the end of May 2014.

The recption staff are extremely ambitious, friendly and helpful, from the time you first enter the small lobby.

The lobby, is down a couple of steps from the street, and is very small, but is made nice and welcoming by a soft bench where you can wait if needed.
A small detail is that the reception desk is very high which makes it a little uncomfortable when you are talking to the staff, at least if you're a small person.

The breakfast was a standard continental buffet breakfast. The coffee was not very great and it is not on the buffet, so you are dependent on the staff for a refill, and they did not voluntarily offer this.
This sort of does not match the standard of this hotel.

I had booked a single room, and this really was a single room. Actually rather cozy single room, that felt large enough and not small and cramped as sometimes happens with single rooms.

The room had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in.
In general it was a comfortable and well appointed room.
However, there was no luggage rack, and no hooks to hang things on.

The room had a safe in it.
The Wifi was working, but they could be little more security concerned with the WiFi name and password.

A large bath room that was almost as large as the room itself, with black stone slabs on the floor, and a grey pattern mosaic kind of decor. Very elegant.
And an elegantly designed flat rectangular basin in white porcelain. Unfortunately, this designed basin was not completely practical, because water does not drain away on the flat surface. But for sure it looks elegant!

The actual room had a modern, very elegant, decor, in white and dark grey. Not actually to my liking, but everybody's tastes are different.

However, together with the design of the room, with the bed part of the room furthest from the window, so that the window itself does not let in that much light in the room, the dark grey decor made the room a little bit unnecessary dark.

Which is a pity, because otherwise this is a nice little friendly and personal hotel and I do so much wish I could give a better review.

Maybe with this room type, they would need to change the decor a little, to make it feel a little lighter.

My understanding is that they are actively responsive to comments from guests,
since one thing I commented on, they were already addressing as a response on other guests comments. Which is also a plus.

Room Tip: The single rooms get very dark because of the small window, that is also far away from the bedroom p...
