“Excellent, no-fuss portuguese cuisine.”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

A lovely restaurant a bit further out from the main centre which we liked as it was very close to our hotel and lovely and quiet. We visited on the first and penultimate nights of our visit to Lagos.

My boyfriend had pork fillets in mustard sauce and sardines - both were excellent. I had the salmon both times as it was absolutely wonderful, some of the tastiest salmon I have ever had. The owner is very friendly and like most portuguese waiting staff attentive without being in your face constantly which makes a change from sycophantic and over-eager waiting staff back in Britain.

“Hidden Secret”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

We have been visiting this restaurant for a number of years and have never been disappointed. Daniel makes all his guests feel welcome and his flambé sole is outstanding; the quality is excellent and also the best value for money in town. Well worth the effort to seek this restaurant out.

“Loved it!!!!!!”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

I had the piri piri chicken and it was outstanding! Really enjoyed it.
My partner had the fish soup and would not shut up about how amazing it was :)
No hidden costs...reasonably priced and friendly staff. Only reason they didn't make the 5star was the location. Out of the hustle and bustle and very quiet. Some may love that but we enjoy the nightlife and atmosphere. But overall an amazing place to eat and spend quality quiet time together.

“Best Restaurant in Lagos”
Reviewed 27 April 2014 via mobile

A hidden treasure, you will have to ask where Daniels Paraiso is but it is worth the trouble.
Fantastic food cooked how you want it, very nice atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
You will notice the owner has no hair Flambé is his speciality
You will have to be quick with your camera though.
I would also recommend the house red and Cataplana.
We have dined in many restaurants in Lagos but this year we dined 12 out of 14 nights here.

“Quality food and service at very reasonable prices.”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Very worth looking for. Slightly tucked away behind other restaurants but make the effort to go there, you will not be disappointed. Authentic no b----t food, well presented, freshly cooked and exeptional value. If very busy you may have to wait but enjoy the affordable wine list while you do so.Has a nice terrace-partly open/ partly covered for alfresco dining; no view but no traffic either. Flambes a speciality but also try the Prawns Paraiso or fish and rice, good meat dishes too. All offered with friendly service.
