This is a very busy restaurant serving traditional Portuguese food. If you want a table in high season, you must book or expect to wait a long time!
Service is good and relatively quick. My family ordered the monk fish cataplana (serves 2) which is the restaurant's speciality; and 2 sea bass. The cataplana arrives in a traditional cooking pot and is superb, packed full of flavour and is more than adequate for 2 people. The sea bass was equally good, being prepared and cooked very very well. The atmosphere is very pleasant and is a restaurant we come back to year after year. Highly recommended. The cost again is average for Lagos coming out at around 75 euros for 4.
