Large villa with 3 large bedrooms with own bathroom (one with actual bath). Not the luxury materials, but satisfactory. The downstairs room has a damp smell...This villa has stone hard beds though and not suited for taller people. Also be sure to ask for gate remote or else leave the car every time you want to enter or leave. Also, take into account a fierce wind blowing especially through this valley. It sometimes makes a stay at the pool uncomfortable.
We spent 2 weeks in Colina 2 in July 2015.
The house is fantastic - big rooms, loads of space inside and out.
The private pool with access to the shared pool is excellent.
Everything worked really smoothly and Bruno was a great help.
The house is located about 3.5km from the centre of Lagos. It's walkable but an easy drive.
We got taxis at night if we wanted to have a drink. Getting a taxi is usually easy unless you want one that can take greater than 4 people, which can take a while.
The house is in a lovely, quiet setting, and would be great with kids of any age.
The only difficulty we had was that we only have one child - a teenager, and since some of the houses weren't occupied when we were there, there was no one her age to hang out with.
Otherwise, the holiday would have been perfect for all of us.
We had a very enjoyable 10 day family holiday at Colina 1 (with our friends who stayed next door at Colina 2).
The property was spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. There was a large outdoor area with a 1.4m deep swimming pool (one depth from end to end) which was cleaned twice while we were there. We hardly used the communal pool which was a short walk away. It was very helpful that we could use staple food left by previous guests (for example olive oil, salt, pepper).
The villa is close to Lagos town centre (a 5 minute drive to the old town, 10 minutes to the Marina), but definitely not walking distance with young children. There were lots of supermarkets in Lagos, the closest was a very well stocked Intermarche, less than 5 minutes drive away.
It was very windy in the evening so a cardigan / jumper is recommended!
Bruno met us at the property and was a very nice man who spoke perfect English.
A great holiday!
