Visited several restaurants whilst on holiday in Lagos town centre and found most to be tired and trying too hard to serve the masses, ultimately with poor food. So we decided to look further afield and came across a review of Vivendo. So my wife and I went along and seated at a window seat over looking the beach. We selected scallops for the starters and splashed out on the main by selecting the Chateaubriand, wow. The food was by far the best I have had in Lagos - not saying I've been to them all, but this was the best - better than "O'Marafado" which I thought was very good for tapas. The service was excellent, everything was explained, the waiter come sommelier was more than obliging to suggest appropriate wines for the steak, which in turn was mouth watering succulent. We finished with Apple strudel - again an excellent choice. I would definately return when next in Lagos. I left a happy man.
