Blue Moon Hostel, since it's such a new place, doesn't have much cred yet. But it was a great place with newly furnished everything. The place was extremely clean and did I mention that it's new? If my memory serves me correct, it even had that new hostel smell.
The owners themselves don't speak much English but still made us feel very much at home. They have employed staff who fortunately do speak English so that was very helpful. Everyone was very nice and accommodating to us, the hostel was beautiful and small (only maybe 4 rooms... fitting about 15 people), which we found was a good thing because we got to know pretty much everyone who was staying in the hostel at the time. We would meet each evening on their outdoor patio and have dinner.
The hostel itself sits on top of a restaurant and right in the center of town so it was close to everything except for the gorgeous beaches that were a 15-min hike up a hill but totally worth it because the vistas were absolutely breath-taking.
If we ever get the chance, we'll go back to Lagos and stay at the Blue Moon Hostel.More
