“Surprised”

e stayed in the Hotel Solar de Mos ten minute walk from the beach, its a longish beach quite safe to swim in and attended by life guards.Ten euros buys you two beds with awnings and foam mattress (Take your own towels ) for the day. There is an excellent bar/restaurant behind you a stones throw from your sun beds with free showers for all whether you eat or not.

“Favourite beach”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Best beach in Lagos in our opinion. We always use this beach as do the locals. It has two bar/restaurants which serve lovely lunches and dinners with good service.

“Great beach to spend a day on”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

This beach is on the outskirts of Lagos and would be a 30 minute walk, at least, from the Old Town. It's at the bottom of a steep hill and I wouldn't want to walk it with young children or anyone with a disability.
Having said that, we were based in the Cascade Wellness Resort, at the top of the hill and we went to this beach a few times. It is on a bus route.
It is well served by 2 beach cafes/restaurants, both with excellent facilities and both serving reasonably priced, good quality food. There are plenty of sunbeds (10 Euros for 2 including a sun shade, per day).
The beach has a lifeguard patrol, water sports and the sea and sand quality are very good. It's worth a visit.

“Excellent beach”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

A lovely beach, especially for families as there is parking at beach level. It is also a bit sheltered from some of the strong Atlantic winds. The two bars/restaurants are well worth visiting and Campimar does take away drinks and ice creams etc.

“Beautiful Beach”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Lovely, long beach. Great for sunbath or pleasant walk along. Nice, soft sand and great surrunding cliffs. Two restaurants, car park, good tolilets and sunbeds to rent. There is bus stop as well.
Located in nice residential part of Lagos. After visiting beautiful beaches Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo, Praia de Mos is still my favorite beach in Lagos.
